05 || utter chaos

Jihyo was pissed. Not at Jeongyeon, but at her brother, Park Jimin. He was lucky Rosé and Sooyoung weren't there to hear, or they probably would have stabbed him.

Sobbing filled the room, fluctuating in pitch. Jeongyeon was sat in Nayeon's lap, head on her shoulder and arms around her neck, while Nayeon patted her back and wiped her tears, talking to her soothingly. Over the last ten minutes, the older had managed to coax some information out of the hysterical girl.

Jeongyeon had passed out not long after she reached the dorm at around midday. She'd woken up at various points but hadn't been able to gather enough energy to move. Nayeon presumed that the fever and nausea were caused by a stress induced panic attack, but she wasn't sure as to why. Well, she knew why. Just not the lead up to the why.

Jihyo was huffing and storming around, before she felt her phone vibrate in her pocket. It was a message from Mina.

Minari: 
unnie, the girls are getting really restless
tzuyu and chae are exhausted, and sana, momo and dahyun are messing around
is jeongyeon ok yet?
let me know if we need to go and speak to JYP

God Jihyo:
Mina, maybe go and stay with Itzy for the night?
Jeongyeon isn't in a very stable state of mind, and even though I trust you girls to be quiet, your presence might overwhelm her.
Just remind the others to be polite to the Itzy members and set a good example.
If you can't, go to JYP and tell him that Jeongyeon is sick, and you can't stay in the dorm.

it's ok, I've just checked, we can stay with itzy
focus on making sure jeongyeon-unnie is ok!
don't worry about us, we'll be fine
momo and Sana have promised to behave 😂

God Jihyo:
Thank you, Mina, for being so reliable.

Minari:
no problem, unnie
tell Jeongyeon that we all hope she gets better!

Jihyo put her phone down and let out a sigh of relief. That was one problem solved. Now, she and Nayeon could focus on helping Jeongyeon. She sank down onto the couch on the eldest's left, turning to look at the pair. Nayeon glanced at her anxiously. Jihyo grimaced before taking one of Jeongyeon's hands and holding it.

"Jeongyeon, I think you need to sleep. I know you've been passing out during the day, but you must be mentally exhausted from all that crying, and your eyes must be tired too. Do you want to sleep with Nayeon in her bed tonight?"

The leader received a nod, followed by a sniffle.

"You're a fighter, okay? You'll get through this. And all the TWICE members are here behind you. But right now, you need to go to bed. Go get changed and get some sleep. We'll talk in the morning. Don't give up."

Jeongyeon stood up, followed by Nayeon, who went to help her shower, change, and brush her teeth. Jihyo cleaned up the remaining tissues, and gathered their glasses of water, before heading off to bed.

She met Nayeon in the hallway. "She's out cold, but I'm going to sleep with her anyway just in case she wakes up and panics."

Jihyo nodded. "Okay. Sleep well. Wake me up if you need anything."

Nayeon smiled before heading back to her room. Jihyo softly grinned, shuffling to her bed and falling fast asleep.

"Sana, Yuna, Momo, for the love of god, please calm down!"

Eleven girls were crammed into the main room of the Itzy dorm, and unfortunately, Mina had made the mistake of allowing the girls to treat the occasion as a sleepover. They'd excitedly dragged mattresses, pillows, and blankets out into the living room.

Then, the groups had immediately descended into utter chaos. Yuna, Momo and Sana were high on sugar in less than an hour, practically bouncing off of the walls. Yeji and Tzuyu were having an arm-wrestling tournament, being hyped up by Dahyun and Lia. Chaeryeong and Ryujin were having a pillow fight, throwing whatever was within arm's reach at each other. Chaeyoung seemed to be the only calm one, curled up next to Mina on the sofa, earbuds in, humming softly to the music.

This is getting stressful. Now I know why Jihyo-unnie yells a lot.

Mina finally reached a breaking point as Ryujin crash tackled Chaeryeong onto the mattresses on the living room floor. Momo, Sana and Yuna quickly piled on top. You could hear the second youngest's muffled screams amidst the shouting and squealing coming from the other members.

"That's it! Everyone, we need to sleep. Now. Get off of poor Chaeryeong, you've probably suffocated her at this point. Yeji, Tzuyu, you can continue in the morning. I'm going to turn the lights out in five minutes. It's almost midnight, and even though we have a late start tomorrow, we can't let the opportunity of sleep pass by. Go and brush your teeth."

Momo grunted, before walking to the guest bathroom, the rest of the TWICE members following her. Ryujin helped Chaeryeong up, and the pair led the way to the other bathroom, followed by Yuna, Yeji and Lia.

Mina stood in the centre of the living room, hands on hips. She let out a huge sigh.

I have even more respect for you now, Jihyo-unnie.
