Nayeon rolled her eyes at the sound of retching from the downstairs bathroom and looked up from her drink to exchange glances with the rest of the girls gathered around the sitting room. She and Jeongyeon were experiencing the aftermath of the previous night. One clearly more heavily than the other."Were you guys really that drunk?"
The eldest shot Jihyo a look. "I wasn't. Taehyung wasn't either. Although, I can't say the same for Jeongyeon and Jimin."
"Oh god... I'm sure you kept an eye on them?" Mina raised an eyebrow from where she was perched on the back of Chaeyoung's armchair
"Uhh..."
Jihyo smacked Nayeon's thigh before folding her arms. "What?! I trusted you! You were meant to look out for her!"
The eldest scoffed and stirred her coffee. "Look. She started to cry and they went out onto the balcony for a bit."
"And you didn't think to ask if she was okay...?" The youngest trailed off, skepticism clear in her eyes. The rest of the maknae lined joined her in staring Nayeon down.
"Hey! You all know she's an emotional drunk. Plus, she's a light weight. Three glasses of soju and she was gone." Nayeon folded her arms.
Momo snatched a biscuit from Sana's plate before turning to the eldest. "So you were all wasted?"
"...Sure."
"And you have no idea what happened?" Sana smirked mischievously at Nayeon, simultaneously trying to wrestle her biscuit out of Momo's mouth.
Nayeon wiped her palms on her leggings and shifted nervously. "Uh, well, Taehyung and I were singing songs."
The leader snorted. "We got that the first time you told us. What about the 'happy' couple?"
"Well... I might have looked out a few times and seen them hugging and swaying..."
Sana let out a high pitched squeal and Tzuyu winced. "What?!"
"I said might have."
"Still!" Dahyun was now invested in the conversation. She leant forward and eyed the eldest. "That's a very far leap from two weeks ago. Didn't Jimin literally choke her?"
Nayeon chuckled. "I know right? It's crazy how much nicer they're being to each other. She came to me afterwards gushing about he noticed the shampoo that I buy her."
The leader let out a small smile. "They're kinda cute together. But still, don't let your guard down. Jimin has a temper and Jeongyeon doesn't know when to stop.
Chaeyoung giggled. "I still can't get over the fact that you still buy her that shampoo. It's almost like you're addicted to the combination of Jeongyeon and strawberry jelly."
Nayeon gulped, not missing the look Mina shot her. "What? If I'm gonna be around her for 10 years, she might as well smell good."
"Uh huh. Sure." Momo nudged Nayeon. "So, do you ship it?"
"Ship what?" The eldest shot her sniggering friends a puzzled look.
"Jeongmin of course! Y'know... Jeongyeon... Jimin... Jeongmin?" Tzuyu leaned forward and rested her chin on her hands, eyes gleaming.
Nayeon sucked in a breath. "I... uh..."
"Nayeonieeeeeeeeee! Why would you tell them about last night?!!"
The TWICE members turned to spot a pale Jeongyeon clutching the doorframe of the sitting room.
Dahyun smirked. "Yeah Nayeonie."
