There was no one in the park when I got there.
My whole body was shaking because of so much anger. I tried looking around the park for a gathering group of guys who might be the 'Toman' who beat up Yuki but I ended up frustrated--and even angrier--when I found no one. Where the hell did those shitheads go?!
It was when I was walking around with my fists clenched when I passed by some two girls. They were talking and I didn't care but I stopped when I accidentally heard what they were talking about.
"I wanna go and see them!"
"Yeah, but it's scary and dangerous."
"But they're so cool! I wanna have a boyfriend in Toman!"Toman?
"Excuse me," I said, stopping them. "Did you say Toman?"
One of the girls looked at me, raising one of her eye brows. "Uh, yeah? What do you want?"
The other girl seemed to recognized me. "Hey, aren't you the new kid?" she said, chuckling.
I noticed that they were wearing the same uniform as mine and looking at their faces, I just realized that they were actually from my class. I didn't wanna waste time and I wasn't in the mood so I ignored the insulting chuckle and asked, "where are they?"
"Who?"
"Toman. Tell me where they are."
"Planning to go and see them?" one of them asked. She chuckled. "Girl, don't even think about it."
"Just tell me!"
"Hey, chill," the other one said. "We heard they're gathering at the shrine today. Not sure, though."
"What shrine?"
"Musashi shrine, near the river," answered the other girl. She smirked. "Don't even try going--"
I didn't even let her finish what she's saying and I immediately go, taking the road that leads to the shrine.
"Hey, are you serious?!" I heard one of the girls shouted behind me. "It's dangerous, don't go!"
But I didn't listen.
I wasn't a taekwondo champion or something and I didn't even know basic self-defense but I still went to the shine, ready to face anyone. I didn't think about the danger, I just want to make those bastards to apologize to Yuki.
The first thing that I saw when I got to the shrine was the bikes that lined the side of the road. They were so many of them, probably over a hundred and all of them had this symbol and a sticker that says, 'Tokyo Manji Gang'. From the distance, in front of the actual shrine, I saw over a hundred of guys dressed in identical back outfit.
I gritted my teeth. There you are. How dare you hurt Yuki, you piece of shits!
I was about to take a step and ready to barge in all by myself when I felt someone grabbed my wrist, stopping me.
"Don't go there!"
I turned around and saw a brown-haired girl wearing the same uniform as mine. I realized that she was one of the two girls on the street that I talked to earlier, the one who told me about Toman.
"W-what? Let me go!" I said. "What are you doing here?!
"Isn't it obvious? I'm saving you!" she said. "Are you seriously gonna go barging there? Girl, this is Toman we are talking about, are you trying to get yourself killed?"
"I don't care, those bastards beat up my brother! They'll pay for it!" I pulled my arm from her grip. "This is none of your business, let me be!"
"Wait!"
