"Who is Aleksandr Mysin?"
Takemichi, Chifuyu, and I stared at Sayuri who was standing right in front of us. She had just written the question on the white board mounted up the wall beside her.
"That's some weird name, don't you think?" Chifuyu asked. "Doesn't sound Japanese to me."
Sayuri rolled her eyes. "Coz it's not, dumbass. Takemichi just said it's Russian."
"Russian?" Chifuyu looked at me with a somewhat confused face. "Just why would you marry a Russian, Nika?"
All of them looked at me, and I just sat there, didn't know what to say. I almost forgot that this was my future husband we were talking about, and that realization made me feel weird.
And I mean, what should I say?
"Okay, so how does this guy look like?" Sayuri asked.
Takemichi shrugged his shoulders. "We don't know. The information we have about him in the future is limited. We couldn't even get a picture of him."
"Or maybe you just suck?"
I gave Sayuri a look. She rolled her eyes and apologized.
"If you don't have any information about him in the future, what makes you think we'll find him here in 2006?"
Chifuyu thought for a moment. "Well, the fact that he's a gaijin narrows it. We just gotta look for a foreigner around here."
"You realize this is Shibuya, right? Foreigners are literally everywhere."
Takemichi's room wasn't that big, but it provided enough space for the four of us to gather inside. The guy suggested that we have our meetings in his house for a 'safer' environment. The four of us couldn't risk to be seen together by our friends either, for that would definitely raise questions.
"Naoto is trying to access some information about him, don't worry," Takemichi said. "The good news is that Mikey is doing better in the future, and we will finally be able to talk to him."
Hearing that made want to suddenly go back to the future to see him. I hope he's okay.
"We believe he knows who is behind the explosion. He surely knows who Aleksandr Mysin is," Takemichi added. She looked at Sayuri. "Also, you finally appeared in the future."
"What?" Sayuri's eyes widened. "Me? Really?"
Takemichi told us about the call she received from future Sayuri.
"Flying to Japan to see Chifuyu?" She seemed disappointed. She glanced at Chifuyu and sneered. "Yuck?"
Chifuyu nudged her. "Just be thankful you're alive and not injured."
"But now, here in 2006, we should at least do something," Takemichi said.
"So what should we do, then?" I asked.
"What if we try to gather information about Panthera?"
Sayuri and I looked at Chifuyu, foreheads creased.
"Panthera? The hell is that?"
"Okay, that's another story," Takemichi said, taking a deep breath. "It's a gang. One of it's leaders was identified as the one who planted bombs on Azora Tokyo in the future."
My eyebrows pulled together. "What do you mean?"
Takemichi told us about this huge gang from Shinagawa that had been taunting Toman. He said that in the future, one of its leader named Tatsuyanagi Oshiro had been identified as the one who planted the bombs on Azora Tokyo which resulted to everyone's death, including mine. With that, he and Naoto concluded at first that the attack had rooted from Panthera and Toman conflict here in 2006.
