Early in the morning, before the first class started, Hina, Sayuri, and I were gathered at back of the classroom.

It was one of the rare days that the three of us came early at the same time so while waiting for the teacher, we talked about usual stuff to kill time. That was the same moment when Hina suddenly spoke, looking at her phone.

"Oh, wait," she said. "I have something to tell you."

Sayuri looked at her, her eyes somewhere between sleepy and irritated. "Please be that something exciting," she said. She wasn't in the mood that morning because her favorite lipgloss was missing.

"What is it?" I asked.

"I just received a text from Emma last night," she said.

Sayuri and I spoke at the same time. "And?"

By the way Hina smiled, I already knew it was something that's worth to be excited about. When Hina finally said it, Sayuri immediately went from being irritated to being energetic real quick. She stood up with her face brightened, grinned, and shouted, "A sleep over?!"

"Yup," Hina smirked, saying it once again. "A sleep over."

She said she received a text from Emma, inviting the three of us in a sleep over.

"So, what do you think?" Hina added.

"Of course, we're going!" Sayuri exclaimed. "We haven't seen Emma for a while, I miss that girl."

"How about you, Nika?"

I paused and looked at Hina, my eyes unblinking. "Uh." I gulped. I wasn't able to speak for a few seconds, my mind preoccupied. I cleared my throat. "Sure."

There was just a single thing in my head the moment I heard it. Emma inviting us in a sleep over means we'll be staying at her house, and that means I'll be seeing Mikey there.

I couldn't exactly understand what I felt about it.

The past days hadn't been good, and I spent it with my head clouded with annoying thoughts. And by annoying thoughts, I meant him and that glasses girl who probably was his girlfriend. Since that encounter at the store, I hadn't had a peaceful mind. I hate myself for still wasting time thinking about it. I mean, so what if he had a girlfriend? He could do whatever he wants in his life. We're not even friends so I should just mind my own business.

"Wait, why so sudden, though?" Sayuri asked.

Hina shrugged her shoulders. "She said she just misses us."

"So, when is it going to be?"

"Monday, on June 19th," Hina said. "Since schools are cancelled til the 20th, she thought it'd be a perfect time for us to bond."

Yeah, there was some kind of three-day big event that was about to happen in Shibuya--which was actually a celebration of a new festival--starting on Sunday, so it was declared that schools are cancelled til the 20th, which was Tuesday, as part of the celebration. Sudden class cancellation like this only happens once in a blue moon so it was indeed the best time for us to spend it to gather around and have fun, and sleep over with the girls sounds perfect. Good thing Emma thought about it.

"I can't wait," Sayuri said, grinning. "I know it's going to be fun. I can feel it."

Later that afternoon, Sayuri asked us to accompany her to the nearby makeup shop to buy herself a new lipgloss, since her favorite one got missing. Hina couldn't come since there was an emergency in their house so I was the only one who went with Sayuri. The both of us took the silent street towards the store--which was just a few meters from the school--and while we walk, she couldn't shut up about how excited she was for the sleep over.
