Tension

You woke up the next morning feeling refreshed, ready for the day. Your mattress was little hard, so having a good nights sleep was rare. But last night must have been one of those rare occasions.

You got ready and put on some makeup. Only a bit, some concealer on some blemishes, blush on the cheeks and light mascara on your eyelashes. Only a little bit was needed to raise you confidence, even just slightly.

You stopped in the bakery on your way to your first photo shoot. You grabbed a pastry and had a quick chat with Mrs Kim about her day yesterday. She explained she'd had a handful of customers, but a relatively quiet day compared to usual. She still looked exhausted, but you didn't want to push her to tell you why. She owed you nothing after all.

Wondering to the park was very calming. There were some bird songs, but no cats today. The park was where most of your bookings took place because the scenery was so pretty, also there were some quiet corners where people weren't crowding around. It was the most beautiful location to spend most of your days working.

Sun-hee and Sena were already waiting on a bench when you arrived. Guilt flashed inside you but they reassured you they'd been here for only five minutes and were early anyway.

As you began setting up your equipment, Sena introduced herself and her wife. She was a lawyer and Sun-hee was an accountant. They spoke very well and formally and were dressed in matching navy blazers. Sena dressed hers down slightly by wearing some loose jeans whereas Sun-hee wore matching navy trousers to her blazer.

Your assumption had been correct about them being embarrassed of PDA. The first few shots of them holding each other's waist or shoulders did not turn out well as they looked very uncomfortable. You tried to resolve this by taking some photos of them sitting side by side with some props in their hands so they didn't look too awkward. After a while they became more relaxed and could hold hands. You got some good pictures and were satisfied so continued to your next appointment.

The dreaded appointment: The 'Wolfcats.'

They'd requested to take photos in the town centre. A complete nightmare since it was always flooded with people. But to look on the bright side, it did make the photos look more interesting, especially if it was possible to blur the background of people so it was easy to see the boys as the centre of focus.

You arrived and found a bench to sit on while you waited. You were just on time, but they were no where to be seen. It was a good opportunity to eat your lunch so you proceeded. You'd meal prepped the previous weekend, today was a cheese and pickle salad. Nothing special, but it filled a hole.

After about 20 minutes of eating, you were finished, but no one was to be seen. You should have anticipated this.

An hour passed, still no one around. You decided to stroll through some shops to pass your time.

30 minutes of shopping later and you'd brought a new pair of sunglasses. Irritation fused to the surface and then you received a text.

'Sorry man, we completely forgot about the game, can we reschedule? Cheers.'

Fantastic. You'd cut out a huge part of your day for them as well. Oh well, nothing could be done. You messaged Bong-Cha and Jungkook to see if they were free and willing to do the photo shoot earlier. Usually this was a lost cause as people liked to get ready before the booking and were never ready prematurely.

But today was a lucky day, they were willing to do the booking straight away! Amazing, you could maybe visit your parents after and have some free time if you finished work early.

Skipping back to the park was fun. Business people rushed past you, chatting frantically to someone on their phone. There were a lot of characters in Seoul, it was a very interesting city.

That park was more packed now than earlier, but there were a good few spots which were unpopulated. The sun was directly above which was great lighting.

The couple texted you to say they were sitting on a park bench by a family with five young children. You could hear screaming and laughing, so you followed the music. It lead you to a stressed looking father rocking a pram and attempting to keep an eye on all of his kids. Sitting beside him were a man and a women.

The women was beautiful. She had jet black hair with some auburn highlights which glistened in the sun. She was dressed in a tight summer dress with small dandelions sketched all over. Her full lips were pursed with a light pink gloss laying on them. She could easily have been a model.

You then glanced at her husband. Your breath got caught for a second, he was gorgeous. His dark brown hair was swept casually to the left which showed off his well trimmed eyebrows and big, innocent eyes. His lips were delicate but pressed together, revealing a small mole under them. He was leaning on his thighs which burst his toned arms through the t shirt, which was simple plain white. He had a small, silver chain draped around his neck and was wearing faded jeans and intimidating cargo boots. A sleeve of tattoos was surrounding his arm, but you couldn't look to closely at them without seeming creepy. Damn.

You stepped forward and they looked up, they looked tired and had no hint of a smile anywhere.

"Hello, I'm Y/N, the photographer? Nice to meet you guys." Their intimidating looks frightened you slightly, but could make an interesting photo shoot.

A little grin passed the man face as he stood up to shake your hand. His grip was firm and comforting.

He looked you dead in your eye, his midnight pupils were sparking as he greeted you. "How's it going, I'm Jungkook." His voice was gentle and slightly raspy. "This is my fiancé Bong-Cha." He stepped back and his significant other reappeared.

She glanced up and gave a weak grin. She stepped forward passive aggressively and shook your hand. She had a stern grip, which felt cold, but then became more inviting as she said, "Hey Y/N, thanks for seeing us."

"No problem at all, shall we walk over to a good spot and discuss some of your ideas?" You suggested.

They both nodded in agreement and walked either side of you. This was a bit odd and uncomfortable since usually couples wouldn't want to be separated. Jungkook towered over you and you could hear his deep breaths by your side.

"We just want a quick shoot to get some decent photos for our parents," Bong-Cha muttered, no enthusiasm in her voice.

Once again a little strange that the target audience for the pictures was their family, but to each their own.

"Ok, is there a particular theme you're looking for? Or just some nice shots with a pretty background?" You asked, trying to get more of a grasp of their image.

Jungkook sighed quietly next you. "Anything will do really, a tree in the background would be great." His tone was hard to read, definitely not exited, that was for sure.

You found the perfect spot with a huge tree standing proud in the background. You wandered around to a side where there was no shading and minimal people.

You looked back to gather the couple's opinion and found them standing a metre apart looking in completely different directions. They could not have been less interested in each other, or this situation.

You realised this was going to be extremely uncomfortable. What was going on between them?
