Jungkooks car was very luxurious. The low, padded seats allowed your body to melt into them. There was more leg room than you could possibly ever need and the journey was so smooth and enjoyable.

You gave Jungkook directions to your apartment along the way, he wasn't familiar with the neighbourhood. His muscular arms swung the steering wheel around and he was extremely relaxed whilst driving. He mainly drove with one arm, the other resting on the window or pushing his hair out of his face.

The roads eventually got narrower as you reached your smaller neighbourhood. The familiar flats came into view and you could see Mrs Kim's bakery light glowing onto the street.

You began collecting your items before being violently thrown towards the front of the car. The swift sound of the seatbelts gluing you back was heard. You felt a little whiplash as you spun to look at Jungkook.

'I'm so sorry,' he stuttered, glancing at you. 'A cat just ran into the road.' He moved his head around to check he hadn't hit the creature.

'Oh,' you said, massaging your neck after the emergency stop. 'Yeah there's a few around here.'

Jungkook gave another sheepish, sympathetic grin before starting the engine again and carrying on the journey.

'Right here, you can pull in before the bakery,' you pointed after another 50 yards or so.

Jungkook swerved a little onto the pavement and rotated his keys to turn the car off. He turned his entire body to face you.

'Again, I'm so sorry for you dragging you out. Thanks so much for the photos, they look so great,' he stated, reaching into his pocket. 'Here's a little extra to thank you for all this trouble.'

You stared at his expanded palm, revealing a hefty sum of money. A "little extra" was cutting it short.

'I can't accept that much. I appreciate the gesture, but it honestly wasn't a problem,' you laugh, opening the door and grabbing your laptop.

Jungkook looked like he objected, but pushed the money back into its home.

You pushed the door behind you as the window slid open. You crouched down to it and glanced at the driver.

'I hope to do business with you again and hope the marriage goes well,' you bowed slightly and began turning towards your building.

Jungkook chipped in, 'think about my business offer, and thank you.' He winked and rolled the window back up. You watched his vehicle slowly cruise away, being extra careful of any hazards wandering the roads.

You smiled, that's wasn't so bad.

The fluffy keychain wrapped itself around your fingers and led you back to the apartment.

Relief flooded into your body as you could finally sort out the mess of a person you'd left the flat as. The laptop was chucked onto the sofa and you threw yourself into the shower.

Detangling your hair was a mission and you let the hot water pour over your body. Reflecting on your day so far, you thought you'd had a decent amount of fun talking to Jungkook. The best part of the day, by far, was finally getting to see the reaction of a client receiving their photos. It was fun imagining reactions, but the real thing was far more rewarding. He'd had the perfect reaction and definitely raised your confidence.

You continued your self care routine and felt refreshed and awake by the end. As you were applying your moisturiser your phone glowed up with two new messages.

One was an Instagram message from a mutual friend asking for a photo shoot. You quickly responded with a time and date, exited at the new booking. You hadn't met her before, she seemed sweet. She mentioned how it was her sons birthday party and she wanted it to be extra special since he'd recently been diagnosed with leukaemia.

Poor boy, you thought. That could be an eye opening experience. It's always tough to see anyone, let alone a young child, suffering such a terrible disease. You knew that didn't define him though, and young boys always had such fun party's, so of course you agreed.

The second message was from Bong-Cha. She had typed a brief text saying, Hey Y/N. Jungkook just showed me the pictures and they look fab. Thanks so much for going out of your way to present them, will definitely keep you in mind for the future. - Bong-Cha

That was sweet if her, you thought. You quickly replied with a no problem and a hope to continue business again someday.

You were left to question their relationship yet again. Still you knew it had nothing to do with you, yet you did feel pity for them.

They could be ridiculously happy together, although that's not what you had gathered.

Anyway, it was their life and they could sort everything out themselves.

You finished up with your skincare, dropped a swift message to your friends about needing to go out soon and made your way to the kitchen.

Disappointment filled you as you once again stared into the lifeless, empty fridge. Damn, grocery shopping was neglected and forgotten once again.

Tomorrow's issue. Yet also tonight's since what on earth were you going to eat.

A takeaway sounded more appealing than the dust-bunnies lying in the cold box. You placed your order immediately, rocking your rumbling belly.

Slippers slid onto your feet and you settled in for the night. It had been a shockingly unproductive day, but you were exhausted.
