JD sighed and decided not to press her for answers. The rest of the day went by relatively quick. They spent the day reading and playing board games. Before they knew it, it was time to start going to classes again. As the year went on, JD and Heather became closer. No one really knew if they were dating and it seemed as if JD and Heather didn't know either.
Four years passed and everyone just considered JD and Heather to be a couple. Neither JD nor Heather had confirmed or denied this either. It was common to see them in the library together or maybe on a picnic in the campus park every once in a while. No one had seen them kiss but it was heavily suspected they were dating...

Heather opened the door to the dorm she shared with her boyfriend, JD. It was the second to last week of school before Heather would start working for The New York Times. JD would go back to another college to get his teaching degree. JD was sitting on the couch with a book in his hands. Upon hearing the door, he glanced up and saw Heather. "Hi sunshine~" Heather smiled and set her bag on the table before walking to the couch. She ran her fingers through his messy brown hair and pressed a kiss to his forehead. "Hi Jason." She made her way around the couch and JD sat up. Heather seated herself in his lap and he rested his head on her shoulder. "I missed you," he mumbled. She gave a small laugh and replied, "I saw you 4 hours ago. You act like it's been months." He raised his head to look at her. "Maybe it has." Rolling her eyes, Heather smiled.
"Okay, Mr. Dean." It was JD's turn to roll his eyes. "I love you but don't call me that." She giggled and turned around and put her back against his chest. Heather held his hand and examined the matching rings she had gotten them. JD always wore his. "Hey Heather?" She looked up. JD was staring down at her. "Yeah?" He held her tighter. "Since you're moving to New York City to be a reporter, what about me? I won't see you every day...are you gonna forget me?" He sounded so genuinely sad. "I'm not gonna forget you. I'll try and call every day. Besides, you're still gonna be my significant annoyance." (A/N: If you get that reference you get a cookie) JD grinned and pressed a kiss to the top of her head. Her hair smelled like strawberries. Heather turned to look at him and played with the collar on his flannel. JD usually did wear his trench coat but when it was only them, he hung up the trench coat and instead wore dorky Star Wars shirts and flannels. She pulled him into a kiss and JD pulled her closer. Heather realized he was wearing another one of his Star Wars shirts and she started laughing. "God Jason, you're such a dork." JD smiled and hugged her. "Maybe I am. But I'm your dork." She smiled and replied, "Yes you are."
A/N: Damn, I haven't updated in over a month. Sorry lmao I've been so busy lately but summer is coming in 4 weeks so I'll be able to update then. Yay for that! I might write more tomorrow.
