The Sunbird and Crow (Heather McNamara x JD)

JD laughed. "Am I now?" Heather nodded. JD pulled her closer. "Y'know, darling, you got me thinking today." He looked at her. "Oh, did I?" teased Heather. "As a matter of fact, you did. I do need some alone time with you considering you're always busy with cheer and being popular." She raised her eyebrows. "Are you gonna have a whole speech or...?" JD chuckled and kissed her. He then picked her up and sat on her bed and started cuddling her. Heather smiled and asked "What are you doing?" "Showing my girlfriend some love. But if you'd rather have it another way then by all means tell me." He smirked and Heather playfully slapped his arm. "Jason Dean!" "Yes?" "Go ahead." He stopped momentarily. "Are you serious? I was just joking. Damn." She kissed him. "And I was joking too." He frowned and said "That's disappointing because I was kinda lookin' forward to that." Heather turned bright red. "I'm just teasing, darling. You don't have to do anything you're not comfortable with." Heather stared at him for a few moments before grabbing him by the collar of the trench coat and kissing him. It quickly turned into making out and escalated from there....

(Haha.... I was not about to write that in detail so timeskip to one dead girl walking scene laterrrr so it's basically morning)


JD awoke to see Heather curled up at his side, covered in a blanket. Memories of the night before slowly flooded back to him. Blushing a little, he looked around for his shirt while trying not to wake Heather. After ten minutes of searching, he heard something fall and realized Heather had kicked the blanket off and she was wearing his shirt. Smiling to himself, he put the blanket back on her and climbed back into bed next to her. He quickly fell asleep again.


Around 11:30 in the morning, Heather awoke in an empty bed. She put on sweatpants and walked downstairs to find JD making coffee. She hugged him from behind. "Good morning, Jason!" He smiled. "Morning, princess. You want some coffee?" She shook her head and he shrugged. "Your loss. Coffee is the best." "I thought you were more of a slushies kind of guy." teased Heather. "Can't I be both?" he asked while taking a sip. Heather shrugged and sat on the counter top. JD watched her. "What are you doing, darling?" She shrugged once more. "I dunno. What are you doing?" He took another sip. "Right now I'm drinking coffee. Last night I was doing you." She blushed and looked at her feet. He smirked and put down his coffee. He stood in front of Heather and she looked up. JD leaned in to kiss her and she put a finger to his lips. "Nice try. Not that easy, Jason." She giggled and he smiled and hugged her. "You're adorable. Now c'mon, it's Saturday and we're gonna cuddle all day." Heather smiled. "That works for me!" She jumped down and kissed JD's cheek. "I'm making tea first." He fake frowned, "You've been in the kitchen for a while and now you decide to make tea when I want my cuddles?" She laughed and said, "We were cuddling all night, Jason." He raised his eyebrows. "I remember differently. I'm pretty sure we were fuc-!" He was cut off by Heather. "Don't you dare." He smiled. "Awww what's wrong, darling?" She put the tea bag in the hot water. "Nothing it's just that... I dunno." He took her mug and set it down. "It's okay, sweetheart. You don't have to do that again if you don't want to." "No. I wanted to do it but it's weird to think about y'know?" He nodded and softly kissed her. "C'mon, darling! I want my cuddles!" She laughed and picked up her mug. "Okay okay!" He picked up his coffee and sat on the couch. Heather took a seat next to him. She turned on the TV and the two began watching the news and making comments about all the political problems. JD put an arm around Heather and looked at her. He wondered how he got so lucky. "Good things come to those who wait" he thought. The two spent the rest of the day just talking and enjoying each other's company.


A/N: And that was this week's chapter! So some of you may have seen the incomplete version of this chapter but I finished it and yay! So anyways, happy Friday! Hope y'all have a good weekend! I've decided that there won't be an update schedule for the headcannons book, I'll probably update at random times.
