The Sunbird and Crow (Heather McNamara x JD)

The next day, JD arrived at school. He looked extremely tired and mentally exhausted. McNamara didn't see him till lunch so she decided to invite him to sit with her, the other Heathers, and Veronica. He accepted and followed Heather to her usual table, knowing everyone was watching. As he sat down, Chandler looked up and saw him. "What are you doing?" McNamara slowly said, "I invited him, Heather." Chandler eyed him before returning to her conversation with Duke. Once McNamara was sure that Chandler wasn't listening, she turned to JD and lowered her voice. "You look like you got no sleep, Jason." He barely nodded. Mac sighed and said, "C'mon." JD looked up. "What?" McNamara held out her hand. "You should go home and rest." JD shook his head and Chandler broke off her conversation with Duke once again. Chandler looked at Heather then looked at JD. "Where are you two going?" Heather looked at JD and replied, "Jason is tired and I think he should go home and rest." JD shook his head again. Chandler sighed and said "Come on. Both of you. I'll take you to his house. Mac, you gonna stay with him?" McNamara nodded and Chandler turned to Veronica. "Veronica, I need you to make excused absence slips for Mac and JD. Make me one too." Veronica looked up from her diary and nodded. Duke looked at Chandler. "So you're not coming back today?" Chandler laughed. "Of course I'm coming back! I'm just skipping again because running around the halls and trying not to get caught is pretty fun." Duke nodded and Chandler turned back to McNamara and JD. "Grab your stuff and I'll meet you outside in five." Chandler left, probably to retrieve her keys from her locker. McNamara kissed JD's cheek. "C'mon Jason." She held out her hand and her took it. They both left the cafeteria together, leaving a forgotten Duke and jealous Veronica. 




A/N: Hey! Sorry I haven't been updating as often. School is getting busier since they'll be reviewing the first semester info and there's been a lot going on with sports and family. And sorry this is pretty short, I just wanted to update but I don't really have the energy to write. I was up till 4 am because I was texting someone, on FaceTime with my teammates, and scrolling through Pinterest recipes and also studying my chemistry notes.
