Heather glanced at the watch on his wrist. "Shit, I gotta go in a minute. I've got creative writing club in a like half an hour. Of course Mellie had to schedule it in the coffee shop on the other side of campus." JD smiled and kissed her forehead. "How 'bout you just skip that? We could have a little fun. We're graduating in a few weeks after all~" She rolled her eyes but smiled. "Mhm, I think I'll go to creative writing. I'm free tomorrow." JD mockingly pulled out his phone and checked the calendar. "Hmm, I can't do tomorrow. I got stuff planned." She playfully smacked the back of his head and said, "Uh huh. You never go out with your friends." He pecked her cheek and replied, "Tomorrow it is, sunshine."

When Heather returned home from her club, it was well after 1 am. She entered the dorm apartment and turned on the lights to see JD waiting at the table. He looked dazed. "Jason," she said as she set her bag down, "What did I say about staying up late to wait for me?" JD snapped out of his daze and looked at her. "What?" She shook her head. "Nevermind. You should go to bed." JD shook his head and stood up. Wrapping his arms around her waist, he said, "We should go take a shower~" She blushed and replied, "No. You need to sleep. Besides, we said tomorrow." JD shrugged. "It technically is tomorrow." She glanced at the clock and realized he was right. She also couldn't deny she had been hoping the next day came fast while at her club. "Jason, you need to sleep. It's one in the morning. We've got English at 8 am tomorrow." He yawned and pouted, "Why are you always right?" She smiled and kissed his cheek and laid on the couch. 

She felt JD pick her up and take her to his room. He buried his face in her shoulder and hugged her. Before she fell asleep, she heard him speak.

"I love you."


She squeezed his hand and replied, "I love you too."



A/N: Y'all it's my last week of school so hopefully once summer comes I'll have more time. Also I apologize if I accidentally type in Greek. If you see something like that, feel free to let me know. Anyways, I got four more days of school and no sports so hopefully I'll find something interesting for the plot but I do feel like the book will have ended by the end of August, if not before.
