JD had been moved around all his life. Well, he'd only been moved around since his mother died when he was 5. Once his mother died, that left JD with his father. JD didn't necessarily hate his father but he didn't like him either. His father was neglectful which caused JD to have to fend for himself. And now here JD was, in Sherwood Ohio in the small town of Westerburg. Tomorrow JD would be attending his 11th high school, Westerburg High. He didn't expect much but he had himself ready to deal with the endless taunts of being the new kid. Since he's moved around so much, he can count on the fact that he'd only be there for a little while before they packed up and moved again. JD also knew that he'd have to keep away from the popular kids. Every one of the school's he went to had a clique of popular kids. He knew that they were shallow and vain and he also knew that every school has this certain clique. But he didn't care very much. Since school started tomorrow, he decided to go to bed early. It beat watching old demolition tapes with his father, they brought back memories that JD didn't want to relive.  As he laid down on his bed in his new room he thought "Why can't we be normal? Why do we need to move every 6 weeks?" As these thoughts filled his head, he slowly drifted off into an uneasy sleep.

(Timeskip to the next morning when he gets to school cuz I'm lazy :/)

As JD walked into the school he could see everyone laughing and sitting around by their friends. As we walked out of the office to find his locker, he bumped into a short blonde clad in yellow. The girl dropped her books and immediately bent down to pick them up. JD helped her and his hazel eyes met her blue ones. They stared at each other for a moment before the blonde broke the silence by mumbling a thank you and hurrying off. JD watched the girl, concluding that she was one of the popular kids when she walked up to three other girls all dressed similar to her. The only difference was instead of wearing yellow, the three other girls each had their own colors. The other blonde was wearing red, the short haired brunette was wearing blue, and the last girl was clad in green. JD observed them for some time and walked to class when the bell rang.

(Timeskip to lunch time)

As JD sat down in the back, he looked around and saw the four girls seated at a table in the middle of the lunch room. While listening in on conversations, JD learned that the 4 girl were part of a clique called The Heathers. From what he could piece together the girl in red was Heather Chandler, the leader of the group. The girl in green was Heather Duke, she was clearly jealous of the power Chandler had. The girl JD had bumped into was Heather McNamara, she seemed to be one of the nicer ones. The girl in blue wasn't named Heather at all. Her name was Veronica Sawyer and she didn't seem to have the same bitchy attitudes as Chandler and Duke. As JD observed the girls, two jocks from a nearby table saw him and wandered over. JD looked up and saw them standing in front of him and asked "Can I help you?" The taller of the two spoke, "What do you think you're doing looking at my girlfriend?" The shorter one said "Well, she used to be your girlfriend. You two broke up 3 weeks ago remember?" The taller one said "She'll be my girlfriend again soon, Kurt! Now shut up!" While the two jocks had their brief argument, JD pulled out his gun and fired blanks at the two. They ran out screaming and JD was satisfied that they left him alone.

(Later at Veronica's house while they play croquet)

"...I'm telling you Heather, he got off too easy! It's your turn by the way!" The blonde stood up and took her shot, missing the hoop. She turned to Heather Chandler and said "He only fired blanks. He didn't hurt either of them. Besides, the only stains their mothers will be cleaning out won't be blood stains." Her comment earned some giggles from Heather Duke and Veronica while Chandler only stared and said "Anyways, I have to go get ready for tonight's party. I'll swing by at 7 to pick you each up." And with that she dropped her mallet and left. The three girls looked at each other for a few minutes and the other Heathers hurried off to get a ride home.

A/N: Eeeeeeek! My first chapter of my first book! I'm sorry it sucks but hopefully I'll get better. And I know Mac and JD didn't interact too much but I promise they will and I won't be going through the actual script. It'll be a little different after the party. I'll probably update a lot but I'll let you know if something changes. Bye now!
