Blood Soaked Hands

You stood and watched as Levi hovered over Eren. Eren looked up at the Captain's face, his mouth remaining in a frown. In one swift action, Levi sent a kick straight towards Eren's face. Levi's kick hit him straight in the jaw. "Levi!" You shouted as you quickly ran over and grabbed Levi.

"The fuck were you thinking?! Do you know how many scouts died because of your reckless behavior! You're lucky there are still people alive on this ship." Levi shouted at him, gritting through his teeth.

Eren just sat there, staring at the ground, not daring to look at Levi. You looked to Mikasa, who had her eyes on Levi, staring straight through him.

"At least we have this son of a bitch." Levi turned to Zeke, who was just sitting in the same spot he was. Zeke looked up at Levi, his glasses falling off his face. "You're going to have fun on Paradis." Levi smirked and began to walk towards Zeke.

As he did, you could hear cheering coming from the other part of the airship. "They better keep it down. We're still in enemy territory." You rolled your eyes, following Levi towards Zeke.

Bang.

You heard it loud and clear. Those weren't one of your guns. You stopped and stared at Levi. His eyes were wide open, staring at the door to the main area of the ship.

You quickly turned around, sprinting towards the door. You threw it open to find the crowd of scouts now standing still. Their eyes were on two young kids, kneeling near one of the airship doors. One of the kids, a girl, was holding a shotgun, pointing straight into the crowd.

You rushed over to the front of the crowd, ignoring the kids. "Oh my god!" You let out a shriek as you collapsed to the ground. There was already a pol of blood surrounding the body.

"Please, oh my god please." You crawled towards the body, as the others around you began dropping and trying to stop the bleeding. You saw the black tuft of shaggy hair and immediately knew who it was.

Nico.

You heard screaming and yelling, before the crowd of scouts rushed towards the kids. You ignored what they were doing and focused on Nico.

"Nico, Nico, Nico! Please..." You grabbed onto his head, trying to get him to open his eyes. Tears streamed down your face, falling onto his cold cheeks. "He's losing too much blood." You heard Jean comment behind you as he tried pressing on the wound.

Nico's eyes finally opened, looking at you and then slowly traveling over to his sister, who was sitting at the top of his head. "Is this how I die? To some kids?" He gave a weak chuckle. "No, you're not dying. I promised I would keep you safe and oh my god." You began panicking as the pool of blood got bigger.

"I need more pressure on the wound!" You shouted at Westley, Jean and Connie who were all around Nico's body. "Lieutenant Y/N. I don't know what more we can do." Jean stared blankly down at the wound. "No there has to. There had to be." Your voice was shaky as you ran your hands through Nico's hair. "You're going to be fine ok? We'll make it back to Paradis and you'll be fine."

Nico nodded his head and slowly closed his eyes. "Don't we have a damn medical aid kit on here!" You shouted at the top of your lungs and scouts began scrambling at your orders.

"Y/N. Go back to Levi, we'll take care of Nico." Rose looked to you as he body shook and her eyes looked blank. "Rose, I promise he'll be fine-" "Go, Y/N." Rose looked back to Nico, continuing to hold his head on her lap.

You stood up, rushing towards the door where Levi and the others were. You busted through the door, and stood before Levi.

He looked in horror at your blood soaked hands and clothes. Tears were still running down your face and falling onto the floor. "What the hell-"

"Two enemy kids got on the ship and shot Nico, h-he's." You began sobbing and collapsed to the ground. Right behind you, some recruits dragged in the two kids. They both looked severely beat up. The girl a lot more than the boy. They threw them onto the ground next to Zeke and left the room quietly.

Levi walked over to them, glaring down at them as they looked straight forward. "What the fuck are you two puny shits doing on here?" Levi's eyes turned cold, and he clenched his hands into fists.

You turned away from Levi, and toned out what everyone else was saying. You stared down at your hands, blood dripping from them, soaking the wooden floors.

I'm about to lose another friend.
