Promise Me (Levi x Reader)

The Cell

"Y/N, Y/N." You heard your name being called as your body was being shook. You slowly opened your eyes to stare straight into the eyes of Jean. You were propped up on the wall of the airship. It was a lot quieter than before, which was unsettling. "jean? Where's Nico?" Your eyes widened once you remembered.

"Don't move too fast. You collapsed from exhaustion." You began to stand up, but Jean wrapped his arms around you to help you up. "We have arrived back on Paradis. We already got the injured off and Nico-"

You struggled out of Jean's arms and ran towards the exit of the airship. You recognized the green grass of the training grounds and the large headquarters of the scouts. You took off running towards the building, where people were walking into.

You pushed your way through the ground and into the building. You took off towards the medical room, where all the wounded would be. You could feel your heart beating out of your chest as you got closer to the medical room.

The door was wide open as people walked in and out. You scanned the room for black shaggy hair, and to your pleasure, you spotted two people with jet black hair. You rushed towards them, almost busting your arm on a hospital bed. "Nico!" You shouted as you stood in front of your squad member.

"Rose..." You stared at Nico in horror to see that his chest wasn't rising or falling. Rose looked up at you, tears in her eyes. Her eyes were blood shot and swollen. "His breathing is shallow, but they stopped the bleeding. Barely in time." Rose looked back at Nico's sunken face. He looked too pale, as if he was already dead.

"Thank god." You let out a sigh of relief and clung onto the hospital bed. "If the bullet was only a little bit off, it would've hit him straight in the heart. Rose grabbed onto Nico's hand gently.

"I'm glad he's alright. Keep me updated. I have to talk to Levi and Hange." Rose nodded her head as you walked away from her and Nico. You exited the medical room and made a right turn, heading straight for Hange's office.

You knocked on the door lightly, before heading into the room. You saw Levi and Hange, standing up with Zeke and the two children on the floor, tied up. You glared at the girl, but she didn't meet your eyes.

"Y/N. Just in time, like always." Hange gave you a small smile, but it was hard for her to hide her true emotions. "What is the plan?" You looked at Levi as he stared at Zeke sitting on the floor. His limbs had regenerated now.

"Levi is going to take good ole Zeke here to where he will be staying for now. This kids are going to stay tied up and..." Hange looked over at you and pointed to you.

"You'll be coming with me to talk to Eren." Your eyes widened as you stood there shocked. "Talk to Eren? Why? Where is he?" You were slightly confused as you looked between them two. "He's being kept in confinement for his actions." Hange walked towards you, wrapping their arms around yours and pulling you towards the door. "It'll be fun."

You leaned up against the cold, brick wall as Hange headed towards the metal bars that were keeping Eren in the cell. You could see Eren muttering to himself as he looked in the mirror. Your blood ran cold as you kept your eyes on him. He wasn't the same Eren you met when he was just a new recruit.

Hange stopped in front of the cell and began talking to Eren. "You always talk to yourself like that? I don't do that." You kept a close eye on Eren as he turned to look at Hange. His eyes were dead and cold. Just like the eyes you saw on the airship.

"Come on Eren, you can talk to me. You talked to me when we were experimenting with your titan. Or maybe I was doing all the talking them too."

"You said fight twice. Does that mean you're fighting two people or you're doing double fighting. It could mean a lot of things, but that's what you were talking to yourself about."

You shook your head at Hange's antics. You knew it would only get on Eren's nerves. You watched Eren turn around fully to look at Hange. Ina split second, Eren's arm had reached through the bar, grabbing Hange by the collar and pulling them up.

You scrambled towards the cell and Eren looked over at you. "Oh! Eren uh!" Hange's voice got high pitched as Eren pulled on their shirt. "Eren." You looked at him and he slowly let go of Hange.

Hange looked at Eren, with a panicked face then grabbed your arm. "Come on Y/N!" Hange dashed towards the stairs leading up to the ground floor. You looked behind your shoulder at Eren, who went back to the sink he was in front of before.

Hange threw the door to the chamber open and ran into the hallway. "Jeez, that kid. I thought maybe he would talk to me." Hange shook her head as she panted form running.

"I don't think he's in a talking mood. He's changed." You let out a sigh and looked at the door to the chamber. "I don't think the old Eren is coming back anytime soon."
