Reuniting with Eden

You held Nico up as he walked down the hallway. "Rose will be happy to see you, that's for sure." You smiled as you guys turned the corner towards their room. "I wish you would quit worrying about me and spend time with Eden." Nico looked up at you and you just shook your head.

"Don't worry. I plan to see him this afternoon." You stood in front of the door to the squad's room and knocked. "Come in!" You heard Westley's voice from inside, giving you the okay.

You slowly opened the door to the room. You heard a small gasp and soon Rose was running to Nico. She wrapped her arms around him, pulling him into the room. Westley jumped up and grabbed the both of them. "Oh my god, I'm so glad you're alright." Rose dug her face into Nico's neck as tears ran down her face.

"Well I'll leave you guys to it." You began to close the door, but Westley quickly put his foot in the doorway, keeping you from leaving. "Y/N... did you hear about the recruits that leaked the information about Eren?"

Your eyes widened and you slowly shook your head side-to-side. "Apparently four recruits spread around the information about Eren being kept in a cell." Westley looked back at Rose and Nico, who were both listening.
"What happened to the recruits?"

"They were put in cells for now too, that was Hange's decision." Westley frowned and removed his foot from the door. "Thank you. I guess I'm out of the loop." You rubbed the back of your neck and stepped away from the door.

"I'll see you guys later, I have a son to speak to." You waved at the three of them as you walked away from the door. You began walking down the hallway, keeping your eyes peeled for the small, black haired monster. You happened to look out the window that faced the training grounds to see Eden sitting in the grass.

You smiled at the sight of your child and fastened your pace towards the door. You bust through the door, and ran towards the small child. "Eden!" You shouted his name and stretched out your arms. Eden quickly perked up and jumped off the ground. "You're back!" Eden ran towards you, jumping into your arms and burying his face in your stomach.

"I'm so sorry I haven't come to see you sooner, it's been crazy ever since we've got back." You sat down on the grass and pulled Eden into your lap. "Where's daddy?" Eden looked up at you, his hair being blown by the wind.

"He has some stuff to take care of, he'll be back soon." You ran your hands through his messy hair. "Good, I've been waiting forever for you guys to come home." Eden flopped back in your arms and closed his eyes.

"I know and I'm sorry." You frowned as you pulled Eden closer to you. You slowly stood up, putting your arms under Eden and standing up. Eden smiled as his eyes remained closed as you picked him up and held him in your arms. "You're getting to old for this." You chuckled as you moved towards the door with Eden in your arms.

You opened the door to the building, using your foot to keep it open as you walked inside with Eden. "Time to get down." Eden opened his eyes as you began to lower him to the ground.

"Can I go to Aunt Rose and Uncle Nico?" Eden looked up as you, jumping up and down. "Yes, but don't be too much of an handful, Nico needs to rest." Eden nodded his head and ran off in that direction. You let out a sigh and began walking towards Hange's and Levi's room.

"Y/N." You heard a voice behind you and you quickly turned around to see the stoic Captain behind you. "Levi!" You ran towards him, throwing yourself into his arms.

He chuckled and patted your head gently. "Shit, I'm glad to see you." Levi pulled away from you and kissed your lips. "How did it go with Zeke?" You raised your eyebrows and he shrugged his shoulders. "I just dropped him off at the woods." Your eyes widened and you tilted your head. "T-the woods?" Levi nodded his head and rolled his eyes.

"That fucker probably expected a cell." Levi grabbed your hand and squeezed it tightly. "I'm going to go see Eden. Relax for the day. I'm sure you are exhausted with the whole Nico thing." You nodded your head and let go of his hand. "Eden will be happy to see you." You smiled and gave Levi a quickly kiss on the cheek.

"I'm sure he will be." Levi smiled before walking off, one of the rare times you've seen him smile.
