Jack
Tooth and I stood blinking in the blinding sun where the fairies of the Tooth Palace were slowly trying to reconstruct themselves into a functioning organization.
When we had arrived here, the whole place was utter chaos. Fairies aimlessly flying around, some hoping to find a direction of where to go, some still desperately looking for their Head Fairies. Upon seeing this, it was like Tooth flipped a switch in her head. She began shouting directions, looking at maps, and giving orders to all fairies. She instructed me to help sort the teeth and look for any clues about where her mom could be.
To no avail.
Once everything seemed up and running, she had a little time to stand still.
"Found anything Jack?"
I shook my head. "Unfortunately, no. I have found no trace, not one clue about where your moms might have gone. Whoever did this knew what they were doing, and were skilled enough to do it without leaving behind evidence."
She tilted her head and looked at me with concerned interest. "You don't think Pitch did this, do you?"
I shook my head.
"Why?"
"Because," I replied, "there was no evidence. Pitch likes to get things done, that's true. And he has a good motive, but-..."
"He likes a bit of drama, doesn't he?" Tooth finished my sentence with a pained laugh. "You're right. This is not his doing. Not directly, anyway. Either he must have had help, or we've got ourselves a brand new enemy."
I put my hand on her shoulder, the wings on her back swooshing faster than I'd ever seen them.
"Don't worry Tooth. I've heard Nord is contacting everyone else too. They'll help you out. I jst wish I could do more."
She shook her head. "You know that you must return to Hogwarts. You need to learn to controle and grow your powers. If this is as bad as it seems you and I both know we could use all the help we can get." Tooth paused for a second. "Jack, I'm about to become a real Guardian. That means it is now my job to guard over the children of the world. Nothing can happen to them."
"I know, Tooth." I wrapped my arms around her and held her close as I felt the lump in my throat thicken. "You better invite me to the ceremony!"
She laughed. "Of course I will, dummy! You're my best friend, and I wouldn't want you missing."
"Allright..." I let her go with a chuckle. "Want me to wait for that kangaroo to show up?"
Her eyes widened and she formed an apologetic smile. "I think you better go before he's here. Moony knows I can't have to two quibbling around here on top of everything!"
And so, with one last hug, Tooth and I said goodbye for the time being. As I flew off with the wind, I wondered when I'd see her again.
If I'd ever see her again.

Unknown third person POV
Deep in a forest, in a clearing between the trees, a woman and two large men appeared from the shadows. With her face hidden behind a deep red hood, her deep voice cracked through the silence like a thunderclap.
"Drop them in."
The two men stepped forward, both carrying large, wriggling sacks. Once they were close enough to the strange wooden bedframe in the middle of the clearing, they swung the sacks back over their shoulders and jumped through the hole in the middle, disappearing in the depths.
The woman spoke up again after her compagnions jumped, seemingly talking to nothing.
"I gave you what you wanted, Pitch Black. The fairies are all yours. Now, I want something in return."
A light chuckle cut through her words and a tall, skinny man appeared out the shadows of the woods.
"Well done. I appreciate your help in the matter. After all, we are here to help each other, aren't we?"
The woman stayed silent.
"Ah, of course," Pitch said, "Concidering your... payment. Remind me."
The woman turned around, lowering her hood as she looked the Boogeyman right in his coal eyes. Her curly black hair revealed streaks of white in them and hid an ever-aging face, but the hatred in her eyes burned though flesh and bone.
"Rapunzel." Gothel said. "You're going to help me get Rapunzel back. Once and for all."
A/N
Well... There you go! Gothel's in the picture again! What could that possibly mean to our friends in Hogwarts?
I started this story four years ago with the intend to finish it, and I still plan to do so. That's why I've posted three chapters in one day, so that I might write more in the near future. I realise I've not done any writing in a long time, and I could've died of embarrassement reading the previous chapters. I'm just glad somebody is reading this after all those chapters. So- thank you!
If you like this story so far, and would like to read where this is going, please concider giving this chapter a like and/or comment. :)
Thanks for reading!
