Rapunzel:

The next morning I woke up in front of my window. Sleepy, I looked out and almost screamed. This wasn't the valley! How did I get here? Was I still dreaming?

Then I remembered what happened yesterday and a flow of mixed emotions hit me. Happiness. Betrayal. Pure joy. They all were there.

I got up and got dressed, looking at my huge room. Because it was huge. It had beautiful light blue walls and it was at least the size of my whole tower. Little decorations hung from the ceiling and on the walls. Birds seemed to fly under my ceiling and meadows full cows hung on my wall. I stared at them with open mouth. I'd never seen another one's paintings! And these were so beautiful!

I touched them to see if it wasn't a window and I was pleased that it wasn't. I stroke across the painting to feel the thick clots of paint with my fingertips. This was wonderful!

Then I realised I would have brunch with my parents today. Yay!

I am so excited! Maybe I should help them preparing the food. I don't know what a brunch exactly is, but I thought it had something to do with food... So let's find the kitchen here!

When I opened my doors, I realised I was never going to make it to the kitchens in time. The hallway where I stood was long and had so many doors in it I didn't even try to count. Or maybe I would.

I went down every door to look for a kitchen. There was a room full of chairs and benches, one with a huge fireplace and one with a whole lot of books. My eyes got big again. I've never seen so many books in my life!

Not that that was hard to improve, but still... There were a lot of books.

I stepped outside and tried to remember which door it was, so I could come back later. Now, I had to find the kitchen first.

My parents must be waiting for me there, it is already 7:15!

With the speed of lightning, I searched every room for a cookingpot, or some fresh ingredients, but luck was not on my side today.

Door 315...316... 317... 318... Hold on! I looked back into my 317th door and saw the kitchen. It was, again, huge! Blinking pots and pans stood on the dresser, ready to be used, and I could count three ovens. Three! I blinked a couple of times, and pinched myself, but I hadn't fallen asleep. This was real.

Unfortunately, I didn't saw the king and queen in this room, so I went out again to search them, when I bumped into someone. It was a big woman, with white clothes and a funny hat. She had dark brown eyes and almost black hair.

"Oh, sorry! I didn't look! I came out of the kitchen because I want to find the king and queen, but they're not there. We should be brunching, though I am not sure what it is, but I thought it would be like breakfast or something?" I looked up at her and realised I all said that superfast and in one breath. The woman stood there staring at me, slowly taking in what I had burst out just a moment ago. Then she gave me a wide smile.

"It's okay, honey! You were looking for the Majesties you say? Are you Rapunzel?"

I nodded and looked down.

"Yes I am Rapunzel. Might you know where they are, Miss...?"

"Call me Helen. I am the main cook here in the castle! I am so glad to see you now, grown up and all! It must be a huge relieve for your parents to have finally found you! Oh, I can't even imagine, being locked in a tower all day and being guarded by a witch! Terrible! Are you okay, honey?"
