Gosh that title... *facepalm*
Hiccup:
"Good morning Jack!"
He turned his head towards me and smiled.
"Mooooooorning!"
I raised my eyebrow and he laughed.
"So you're up already?" he asked me, looking a little concened.
"Yeah. Just really excited for today's lessons! I can't wait to learn everything!" I suppressed the urge to jump up and down by sitting down next to Jack. He laughed and shook his head. "It's no miracle you've been sorted into the nerd-house!"
I rolled my eyes and smiled at him to show I didn't take it seriously, but secretly I hated him laughing at me.
It fell silent as we grabbed some breakfast from the long table in front of us. Just like yesterday evening, the table was filled with bowls and plates with baked egges, beans, toast, cereal and more. However, I noticed the tables were only filled at those parts where students and staff sat. Not seconds later, some second-year students from Slytherin came to sit just ten feet away from us and boom! There was the food.
I opened my mouth to ask Jack how that worked, but I saw him staring at his food like he was somewhat moody. So I decided to ask him something else. No time for difficult questions this morning, I could see.
"So, you're up early as well. You a light sleeper or a morning person?"
He looked at me, eyebrows raised. It took a second before he took it in and sighed.
"Let's say I don't sleep much..."
"Oh." was all I could say.
Rapunzel:
When I woke up, it was no later than seven, as usual. I took a deep breath, smiling as the mouldy outside smell hit my nose. Which was funny, because I was inside an old, stone castle. It should have smelled like the castle in Corona, but the smell was like the one in my tower when I had let the window open suring a hot summernight.
It was all very logical, though, once you'd have seen the common room of the Hufflepuff house. It had been a warm and welcoming sight yesterday, when we'd all climed through a barrel after tapping it in a certain rhythm. Once we'd went inside the room, I instantly loved it. The ceiling was low and made of honey-coloured wood, like the cosy couches and seats in the round room. They were coated with black- and- yellow cushions, the colours of Hufflepuff.
Across the ceiling and on the walls, there were many foreign plants, making it look like we were outdoors. When I had walked through the room towards the dormitories, some plants striked over my head, and the tall Prefect in front of me got one full in his face.
The girls' dormitories were as lovely and warm as the common room had been. The beds were also made of honey-coloured wood, and our bedsheets were white with little yellow accents on them. Our stuff was already waiting for us on our beds.
Sleeping in had been wonderful, waking up was even more so.
As I put my feet on the soft black carpet beneath my bed, two purple eyes from in the bed next to me flickered open. Tooth sat up as well and smiled.
"Morning Rapunzel!" she whispered.
I smiled back. "Good morning Tooth! Have you slept well?"
She nodded and gestured she was going to change clothes. I mouthed 'okay' and I turned around to shut my own bedcurtains as well. There I found Pascal sitting on my footend, looking questioning at me.
