Rapunzel:

I sit in my towerroom, my feet hanging out of my window. I always love to do that, it gives me a feeling of freedom. Even now, while I actually feel the freest I have ever been. I look out at my kingdom. My city. Corona could never have been more beautiful!

Today had been a tough day. After I discovered the truth about myself and I met professor McGonagall, she had brought me outside.

CAN YOU EVEN BELIEVE IT?! I WENT OUTSIDE!!!

For the first time I can remember, I went outside my tower. The place I had called home for so many years.
And, I must say, it was wonderful! I actually toutched grass for the first time! Can you believe it? It tickled and it smelled like dirt! The summer breeze was calling me, soft and warm.

I even stood in the stream what gently flowed along my tower! The water was suprisingly cold, but I nevertheless ran through it. And for like the first time in forever, I was completely free!

It took a while 'till I notices professor McGonagall was waiting for me. I smiled apologising and walked up next to her. We went trough the tunnel I always could see Mother disappearing in and I got really nervous again. What if the world outside that tunnel was actually like how she had described it?

But what if it wasn't?

Just to be sure, I got a little closer to the professor as we walked through it. A few seconds later, we saw the light and stood outside the valley.

I noticed we were in the middle of an open space, surrounded by huge trees and bushes.

Suddently, the professor grabbed my hand.

"Hold on tight and don't let go!"

And then we dissapeared.

Now I understand what McGonagall did. She apparated us to the castle, where she called for a guard to bring me to my parents. I was feeling a little ill, and felt like I had to throw up, but McGonagal only smiled at me.

"This man will take you to your parents, Rapunzel, and I'm sure they would recognise you. You look a lot like your mother."

Then, she pulled me in a stiff, short hug and apparated away.

There I stood, by the side of the guard, with no-one I knew, in a big castle in an unknown city, to meet my parents I had never seen in my life before.

Great!

The guard took me to a balcony and told me to not move an inch. He was going to get the king and queen.

Hold on,I thought, the king and queen!? You mean the king and queen are my parents!?

Mother had said the land was ruled by a king and queen who only cared about themselves. The world outside their castle walls was nothing to them. A lot of people had died because they didn't have enough food. The king and queen had taken all their cows and plants form the farms.

I always had been frightened of them, but then Mother, no Gothel, had told me I was save im my tower.

And now I stood here, now completely alone, on the balcony what belonged to the king and queen.

I looked around. It was pretty and very big. Pretty big. The stones used to build it were soft pink and beautifully shaped. In front of me, a huge door touched the sky. In the middle of the door, there was a golden sun. I stared at it.

It was exactly the same I had on my bag!

I stared at it untill the sun suddently broke in two. The doors opened and there stood two persons I assumed would be the king and queen.

They stared at me and I stared back.

The woman, the queen, my mother, had beautiful long, dark-brown hair. She was dressed in a purple dress and on her head, a little crown shined in the sunlight. But what cought my attention was her face. It looked exactly like mine. Big, green eyes, small nose and lips, curling into a wide smile.

The man, the king, my father, had black hair with clear stripes of grey in it. He had blue eyes and a big, crooked nose. He looked like a father who had been very worried for a very long time. What he was, of course.

I had learned how to do it, so I estimated their ages: she was about 36 and he 43 years old.

I noticed my mother, my real mother, smiling at me and I smiled back. She teared up and ran to me to give me a big hug. Not much later, I felt my fathers arms around us too. Everything was perfect.

The rest of the day was just like that. We had dinner and told eachother stories. My parents asked me a lot of questions and I answered them, shy but very enthousiastic. They also said they had read my letter about the wizarding school and said I could still go, if I want to. They now know I'll be safe. I thanked them and they said they would contact professor McGonagall about the school stuff I needed. Though I finally had a new life, with a real family, I still wanted to discover more about the world. I was so glad they agreed.

After dinner, we all went to bed.

"Tomorrow we are going to do something fun!" my mother had said. Her voice was very soft and exactly how a mother should sound.

I hugged them again. I couldn't have been happier.

A few minutes ago, I couldn't bare it to go to sleep immeadiately. I opened my window and let my feet hang over the edge. Now, looking out over the stars, everything is perfect. Right before I fall asleep, I think I see a man flying through the sky, but before I really notice him, I fall asleep in my tower room window.
