S03E53: The New Deal

Roslyn's POV

Elena and I decide to go on a jog. We're just jogging around the neighborhood. I sense someone following us and give Elena a look. She gets the message and we pick up speed. If we weren't in a public space I would of grabbed her and run at full speed. We turn a corner and Elena runs into someone and I can tell by his scent, he's a hybrid.

"Excuse me. Should have been watching where I was going" he says.

"Yeah you should" I growl.

"It's fine, don't worry about it" Elena tells him.

"Have a nice day" he says and jogs away.

"Lets get you home" I state and we race home. We took turns in the shower and changed. She then went to the grill to meet Bonnie. While I went to see Klaus, to see him with the jogger. I growl and ram him into the wall. "Give me a reason I shouldn't kill your little minion" I tell Klaus.

"He is helping me look for something" he states.

"Not good enough" I sneer.

"Stefan took something from me, I had Tony here tail Elena. In hopes she'd lead us to him" he tells me.

"Good, now stay the hell away from my family" I tell him. I snap the hybrid's neck. "Next time I see him, he loses his head" I state. I left and decide to take Rudy for a walk. We go to the lake and I play fetch with him. When I get a call.

"Roslyn, have you seen Jeremy?" Elena asks as soon as I answer.

"Hello to you to Elena. You sound worried" I state.

"He lost his job at the Grill and his grades are dropping" she states.

"I'll be home soon" I assure and hang up. I try to call Jeremy, but it goes to voicemail. "Jeremy when you get this, come home" I state and hang up. Rudy and I go home. I start to make dinner, Elena and Ric soon arrive. They set up the table.

"So, you're ready?" Ric asks Elena.

"Vampires, hybrids and originals. No problem. My rebellious brother. I'm worried" she states.

"Proof that you're still human" I tell her. The front door opens and Jeremy enters and goes to the fridge.

"Just in time, Rosie has been cooking" Elena tells him.

"Sorry, just passing through" Jeremy tells her.

"Ah, well I thought we would all stay in, have a meal together like a typical, atypical family" Ric states.

"Why?" Jeremy asks.

"Maybe because you got fired and you didn't tell anyone" Elena states.

"And because your grades are dropping" I add.

"Ahh- look, can we do this later? I made plans with Tyler. He's right outside" Jeremy states.

"Though I smelled a hybrid" I sneer looking at the door.

"When did you start hanging out with Tyler Lockwood?" Ric asks him.

"I don't know...Does it matter?" Jeremy asks him.

"Yeah, Jeremy! It matters. He was sired by Klaus. He's dangerous" Elena tells him.

"I agree, he's not the person I called friend" I state.

"He can still hear you. He is right outside. Besides you of all people are gonna lecture me on who I can and can't hang out with?" Jeremy demands.

"What is with the attitude?" Elena and I demand.
