SO1EO6: Lost Girls

Roslyn's POV

Damon was piling the bodies up together and covering them in alcohol. "Burn them, I have a call to make" he tells me. Sighing I do as I'm told grabbing a stick from the dying fire. I lit the bodies on fire. Only Vicki has to be added, but last I saw she was alive. Hopefully Damon won't kill her properly.

"What, did you FedEx it to Rome?!" Damon shouts into the phone. "Where is it?" he asks. "I want my ring Stefan, or my next stop is Elena's" he states.

"Why's the ring so important?" I ask him quietly and he sighs.

"It allows me to walk in sunlight" he tells me before going back to his talk with Stefan. "Yes Roslyn is here, she let me out like a good girl" he says. "Don't give me another reason to rip you apart" he tells his brother. "Just get it" he states hanging up the phone.

"What now?" I ask him.

"Burn the remaining girl and return to the boarding house to wait for Stefan" he states.

"But my mum she'll be worried about me" I tell him as we head for the car.

"Not my problem, tell her you're having a sleepover" he tells me. He starts to pour whiskey over Vicki and she groans. "You just don't wanna die, do you?" he asks her. Damon picks her up before turning his back to me. "Hope on, hold your breath and hold on tight" he instructs. I do as I'm told and he runs back to the boarding house.

I hop off of his back as he puts Vicki on the couch. I place a towel to her wound applying a little pressure. Then call home to tell mum I was sleeping over at a friends house. She told me not to stay up late and to be home by dinner the next day. "You can sleep on the other couch" Damon tells me.

"Yes Damon, just please leave my family alone" I tell him as I sit on the couch opposite Vicki.

"As long as Stefan gives me my ring back, they'll be fine" he tells me. I zip up my jacket and lay down. Before falling asleep.

(Next day)

I woke up covered in a blanket and to Damon talking. "Where are you, Stefan? I'm trapped at the house, and I'm getting really bored and really impatient, and I don't do bored and impatient. Bring me my ring. Damn it" he says. Keeping my heart rate low trying to go back to sleep."Aw, don't get blood on the couch!" he exclaims."I got you good didn't I" he says and I can imagine him smirking. "Well you won't be any fun today" he mutter. "I'm gonna regret this" he mumbles. "Drink up..." was the last thing heard before I fell asleep.

(Later on)

I woke up to music playing. I see Damon and Vicki dancing together. Vicki only in a shirt and her underwear, hair damp. "What's going on?" I ask as I rub the sleep from my eyes.

"Well sleeping beauty, we're having a party" Damon states.

"Join us Rose" Vicki begs.

"No thank you" I say as I stand up folding the blanket. I turn and Damon suddenly appears in front of me. "Move Damon, I have to go home" I tell him.

"No can do, you know the vervain is out of your system now" he states. I gulp avoiding his eyes. "I can easily make you party with or take a taste of your vervain free blood" he says playing with my hair. Making me shiver. "But I won't, call Elena" he tells me.

I take out my phone and dial her number. While he goes back to partying with Vicki. "Rosie, are you ok?" Elena asks me.

"I'm fine, where are you?" I ask her.

"With Stefan" she states. "Rosie stay away from Damon" she tells me.

"Don't worry about me, I'm going home now" I assure her. We say our goodbyes and hang up. I leave the house and head home. Once there I make myself some food as I'm starving. Jeremy soon appears and I make him some food. He tells me mum was out for the day and he doesn't know when Elena is due to come home.

"So where were you last night?" he asks me.

"At a sleepover with Vicki" I tell him.

"I thought you and Vicki didn't get along" he says confused.

"Matt wanted me to keep an eye on her, because she was so stoned. But she seemed fine when I woke up, so I left her so that she could shower" I lie. He buys it. Suddenly the doorbell goes off, he said he'd get it. I hear him talking to someone when Vicki enters the kitchen.

"You're high? Vicki, it's the middle of the day" Jeremy states. "I thought you said she was fine" he tells me.

"She was when I left her" I tell him.

"Could you just not talk so loud? My head, it hurts. I need quiet" Vicki tells us.

"I'll call Matt, keep an eye on her" I whisper to Jeremy. He nods his head and I leave the kitchen phone in hand. I call Matt and he arrive ten minutes later asking where Vicki is. "Come this way" I tell him and lead him into the kitchen. He kneels down in front of Vicki asking her how she felt.

"Not good, Mattie. I hurt" she tells him. Matt and I ask where she hurts. "My gums. My jaw hurts. My gum...there's something in my gums, and it hurts" she complains. Gums? Could she possible be in transition. The news comes on and talks about the dead teens in the cemetery. Matt and Jeremy start to ask Vicki questions about it. I tell them to leave her alone.

Just then Elena arrives home with Stefan in tow. Elena rushes over to Vicki and asks what's going on. Stefan tells her to back away and looks into Vicki's eyes. "Everything's gonna be fine. Guys, take her up to bed. Shut the blinds. She's gonna be ok" Stefan assures us. Matt and Jeremy take Vicki upstairs.

"She's in transition isn't she?" I ask him.

"Yes, she's transitioning" he states.

"Into what?" Elena asks us and I remain silent.

"She knows Roslyn and a vampire" Stefan tells us. "Damon must have gotten to her. She's new. She hasn't completed her transformation yet" he explains.

"How does she complete it?" Elena asks him.

"She needs to drink human blood" Stefan replies.

"I shouldn't of left her alone with him, this is all my fault" I say trying not to cry.

"What are you talking about Roslyn?" Elena asks me.

"I was with them this morning, I was there last night. If I hadn't of left her alone with Damon, this wouldn't be happening" I explain.

"It's not your fault, we can handle this" Stefan assures me.

"What if she doesn't drink blood?" Elena asks him.

"She'll die, it's a choose they all have to make" I tell her. Suddenly I hear a door slam.

"Vick. Vicki!" Matt shouts.

"She just freaked out" Jeremy says confused.

"I can track her" Stefan tells Elena.

"Go" she says and he does. Matt leaves to search for Vicki once night fell. The doorbell rang. "Jeremy, Roslyn go upstairs" Elena tells us and we do as we're told. I have a much need shower and change into my pj's after brushing my teeth. I grab my favourite book and lay on my bed as I begin to read it. I fall asleep half way through the book.

(Later that night)

I woke up to tapping on my window and I get out of bed. I walk over to the window and open it. Looking down I see Damon and back away from the window. "How's Vicki?" I ask once he was inside.

"She feed and is now a vampire" he says shrugging.

"Why turn her and not me?" I ask him.

"You're still useful as a human" he states.

"I don't see how, anything else I should know about?" I ask.

"Logan Fell is dead and I need you to look after this" he states handing me my families old pocket watch. "It's a compass that points to vampires" he explains. "Make sure no one finds it" he tells me before leaving. I sigh and place the compass inside my memory box's hidden compartment. Before going back to sleep.
