Roslyn's POV

I'm having my tea with a muffin before school, when mum enters the kitchen with a nice dress on. "Do I look adult? As in respectfully parental?" she asks me.

"Depends on where you're going mum" I tell her.

"Jeremy's and your parent-teacher conference. Hair up or down?" she asks me. She puts it up first.

"Sexy stewardess" I say smirking and she lets it down. "Boozy housewife" I states.

"Up it is" she says putting it up. "And you've been spending way to much time with feisty Elena" she states. Just then Elena enters the room and asks if we'd seen Jeremy. "He left early. Something about getting to wood shop early to finish a birdhouse" mum tells her. "There is no wood shop is there?" she asks us.

"No/Nope" Elena and I tell her.

"Yeah" mum says before leaving and I leave with Elena. In class Mr Tanner was talking about the comets history. But Elena and Stefan were talking, Mr Tanner caught them. Before continuing on with his lesson while they look down. Now Elena and I walking around with Matt, asking him about Vicki.

"They're keeping her overnight to make sure there's no infection, but she should be able to come home tomorrow" he tells us.

"That's good" I say smiling.

"Did you get into contact with your mum?" Elena asks him.

"Called and left a message. She's in Virginia Beach with her boyfriend, so...we'll see how long it takes her to come rushing home" Matt states.

"Vicki's lucky that she's ok" Elena and I tell him.

"I know, and now there's talk of some missing campers" Matt tells us.

"I didn't know that" I say.

"Did she say what kind of animal it was that attacked her?" Elena asks him.

"She said it was a vampire" Matt replies.

"What?" Elena asks shocked.

"Vampires aren't real, I think the drugs they have her on. Have made her loopy" I tell Matt.

"True, I think she was drunk" Matt agrees. "So what's with you and the new guy?" he asks Elena changing the subject.

"Matt, the last thing that I want to do is hurt you" Elena tells him.

"You know, I'm...I'm actually gonna go back to the hospital. I want to be there when Vicki wakes up, get the real story about last night" Matt states.

"Tell her we said hi" I tell him. Giving him a warm hug before he left. "Elena, I'm going to the library" I tell her before leaving. I was in my corner when I was grabbed from behind and pushed against a bookcase. I see Damon looking me straight in the eye and gulp.

"Don't scream" he says compelling me. Or he would be if I didn't have vervain in my system. "Now why were you at the Salvatore boarding house the other night?" he asks me.

"To talk to Stefan about our history project" I tell him calmly.

"What did you hear?" he asks me.

"That you like to ruin Stefan's life and called me Beauty" I state.

"What do you know about vampires?" he asks me.

"That they don't exist" I tell him. Damon lets go of my neck chuckling.

"You play well, but I know that's a big fat lie" he states. "Stay out of my way and kepp your mouth shut or I'll kill you" he tells me. Before disappearing and I sigh in relief. Ok never make Damon angry, check and Stefan's the nice brother, check.
