S02E29: Masquerade

Roslyn's POV

I'm at home making sure everything is clean and ready for my mum. She's coming home today. Elena and Jeremy went to get her with Matt. Suddenly I hear them arrive home and rush to the door. "Mum" I say in relief and go to her other side.

"Hi dear" she says smiling. Matt and I help her to the couch. We lay her down as Elena and Jeremy go to the kitchen with the groceries.

"Roslyn, ready to go?" Jeremy asks me. I hide my frown, I'd been called to the Salvatore house. I really didn't want to go, but Caroline texted me. Said Katherine had paid her a visit. So I agreed to go.

"Yeah, I'll see you later mum. Take it easy" I say.

"I'm the parent" she reminds me.

"Yes, but you're hurt. Let us take care of you" I tell her gently.

"Fine" she relents.

"I'll be back" I assure her before leaving with Jeremy. "Remind me again, why I'm letting you tag along?" I ask him.

"Because I'll help anyway" he states. We arrive at the Salvatore house and go inside. Bonnie, Caroline and Alaric are already there.

"What's going on?" Bonnie asks us confused.

"We're gonna kill Katherine" Jeremy and I tell her.

"I can explain" Stefan tells her.

"Please" she says.

"We're gonna kill Katherine" he states.

"This works with compressed air. The trigger mechanism is up here. I have two of these in a different size. For you I recommend this. It fits nicely under the jacket sleeve. You use the trigger when you're ready" Alaric explains demonstrating who it worked.

"So we're really going to kill her tonight?" I ask.

"Sure are" Damon says smirking.

"Are you sure you guys don't want me there tonight?" Alaric asks us.

"No, I need you to stay with Elena. I don't want her to know about this" Stefan states.

"Watch over my mum" I add.

"Okay. Well, I'll make sure neither of them leave my sight" he assures us.

"Alright, if anybody wants to back out, I'll understand" Stefan states.

"Yeah. Cold feet speak now. I don't want this going wrong if someone chicken's out. Caroline, Roslyn" Damon says.

"I won't. Look, she killed me. Fair's fair" Caroline tells him.

"She nearly killed my mum and turned me. As long as there's no werewolf running around, she's dead" I state.

"Oh, I took care of Mason" Damon says smirking.

"As long as Tyler doesn't kill anyone, he won't turn" Jeremy states.

"Bonnie? Are you with us?" Stefan asks her.

"But no one gets hurt" she says.

"Except Katherine" I say smiling.

"Tonight Katherine gets a stake through her heart" Damon adds smirking. Jeremy and I leave with Bonnie to get ready. I put on a pink dress and heels, rose gold necklace. Then put on the pink mask Bonnie had gotten me.

We then go to the Lockwoods and I lead them upstairs to an empty room. "I thought this room could work" I tell Bonnie. She said it was perfect as she takes out her grimoire.
