S02E31: Katerina

Roslyn's POV

"Tyler, I'm so sorry I wasn't there when you triggered it. But I promise to be there from now on with Caroline" I tell him over the phone.

"It's fine Rosie and thank you. I could really use my best friend's support through this. Especially as Mason isn't returning my calls" he tells me.

"Don't worry, you'll be ok" I assure him.

"I'm taking Caroline to the old Lockwood Property tomorrow, can you please come?" he asks me.

"Of course I will" I tell him. We say our goodbyes as I pull up at the Salvatore house. I turn off the car to see Elena already here. I enter the house and find them all in the parlor with Rose. "What's she doing here?" I demand glaring at her.

"Easy Roslyn" Damon tells me.

"She's here to help" Stefan adds. I sit beside Elena not taking my eyes off of Rose. I don't trust her. "Continue the story Rose" he tells her.

"Elijah was the Easter bunny compared to Klaus. He's a foot soldier. Klaus is the real deal" she tells Elena.

"Okay, so you're saying that one of the oldest vampires in the history of time is coming after me?" Elena asks her.

"No" Stefan and I say together as Rose says 'yes'.

"What they're saying is, I mean if what she's saying is true" Damon tells us.

"Which it is" Rose tells us.

"And you're not saying it so I don't kill you" Damon continues.

"Which I'm not" she adds.

"Then we're looking at a solid maybe" Damon finishes.

"Look, Elijah's dead, right? So no one else even knows that you exist" I assure Elena.

"Not that you know of" Rose tells me and I glare at her.

"Not helping" Damon tells her.

"Look, I've never even met anyone who's laid eyes on him. I mean, we're talking centuries of truth mixed with fiction. We don't know if he's real. For all we know he could just be some sort of stupid bed time story" Stefan states.

"He's real and he doesn't give up. If he wants something, he gets it. If you're not afraid of Klaus, then you're an idiot" Rose tells us.

"Alright, we're shaking. You made your point" Damon tells her. Elena gets up grabbing her bag. She and I leave the house.

"Meet me at the tomb with Caroline" she whispers and I nod my head. I leave and collect Caroline before we go to the tomb. Where Elena is already waiting. "Tell everyone I wasn't feeling well and I went home from school" she tells us.

"I can't believe we're agreeing to this, I'm a terrible lair" Caroline states.

"And keep Stefan busy. I don't want him to know what I'm up to" Elena tells us.

"I'm even worse at duplicity" Care whines.

"You know this" I tell Elena.

"You both managed to keep me occupied when Katherine paid Stefan a visit" she reminds us.

"Yeah, because she threatened me. Not that I'm saying that you should use that as a tactic, it's...Stefan's gonna see right through me" Caroline states.

"No he won't" I assure her.

"Caroline, as my friend, do you promise or not?" Elena asks her.

"You had to break out the girlfriend code. Okay. I promise" Care tells her. She removes the door from the tomb so that Elena can talk to Katherine. We hear a noise.I turn my head and look at the door entrance. Katherine arrives and stops at the entrance looking very pale.

"Hello Elena. You come to watch me wither away? Goodbye Caroline and Roslyn" she says.

"As long as I stay on this side of the door, she can't hurt me. Please" Elena tells us. We sigh and leave them to it heading to school. When we arrive we find Stefan trying to leave.

"Where are you going?" I ask him.

"Well, Elena went home sick; I just want to go check up on her" Stefan states.

"Ditch her" Care tells him.

"What she means is, we need to talk to you" I tell him.

"About what?" he asks us confused.

"I might have done something" Care says sheepishly.

"What did you do?" Stefan asks her.

"Told Tyler, Rosie and I are vampires" Care answers. We all go to the grill to talk. "Sorry to drag you here but if I don't eat, I get those kill innocent people urges. Tyler totally has those too by the way" she explains.

"Yeah, what else did you say to him?" Stefan asks her.

"Not much, I tried to keep questions to a minimum" Care tells him.

"Are you mad?" I ask him.

"Yes Roslyn. As a matter of fact, I am a little mad. I mean, you put yourselves at risk. If Damon finds out" he says.

"But you're not gonna tell him, are you?" we ask him worried.

"No, of course not. He would kill you both" he assures us.

"Always looking out for us" Care says smiling.

"Yeah. Well, you both don't exactly make it very easy on me" he tells us.

"Then why do you do it?" I ask him curious.

"Why are you such a good friend to me?" Care adds.

"I don't know. I guess you...you remind me of someone. My best friend, Lexi" he tells her.

"I can see that, but she's one of my best friends Stefan" I tell him playfully as I hug Care's arm.

"Don't worry, I'm not taking her from you" he tells me chuckling. "I got to go" he adds standing up.

"Wait! No! What do we do about Tyler? I don't want Damon to kill him 'cause there's a full moon coming up and Tyler is totally freaking out about it" Care tells him. He sits back down and we continue talking until he decides to go.

"Roslyn, Caroline, you have two seconds to come clean" he tells us as we tried to stop him again.

"What do you mean?" we ask him.

"I'd believe the whole innocent act a little bit better if I didn't know how good you were at providing a distraction on demand. Where is Elena?" he asks Care.

"I can't tell you" she states and he looks at me.

"I can't tell you either" I tell him.

"You both can't tell me? Are you kidding me?" he asks us. "Elena was kidnapped, she could have been killed and you're seriously not gonna tell me where she is?" he demands.

"She's not in any danger. We would not have let her put herself in danger" I tell him.

"Put herself in danger where? What do you...? She's with Damon, isn't she?" he asks us.

"Eww! No" Care answers.

"Then where...where is she? Listen, if you're my friend like you've been pretending to be all day, then you'll tell me where she is" he tells her.

"Stefan, I am your friend but I'm also Elena's friend and I'm sorry but I'm not going to tell you where she is" she tells him. I nod my head agreeing with her and he leaves. "So are you going with Tyler and I tomorrow?" she asks me.

"Yes, I'll meet you both after school" I tell her. We hug each other and go home. I did my homework, before reading a book before dinner.
