S01E14: Fool me Once

Roslyn's POV

Stefan and I went to the boarding house quickly. After searching all night for Elena. We find Damon in the study, reading through Emily's grimoire. He doesn't look up when we enter. "Anna took Elena" we tell him.

"Yeah, I got that from your 600 voice mails" Damon tells us.

"Damon, all night long, every single street in town, we've been searching" Stefan tells him.

"What if your blood hasn't passed out of her system?" I ask him.

"Well, then at least you know you'll see her again" he tells me.

"Please" Stefan says as he sits down on the sofa, next to Damon. "What do you know? You were with Anna, you must know where's she living. Just tell uswhere we can find her" he begs.

"Nope. You can go. Really" Damon tells him.

"You know, all I can remember is hating you. There might have been a time when that was different, but your choices have erased anything good about you" Stefan tells him. This grabs Damon's attention and he puts the grimoire down looking up at Stefan. "But see, I also know you have just as much reason to hate me. This all began with me. Katherine got taken away from you because of me. And I'm sorry" he tells Damon.

"Apology accepted" Damon tells him.

"So please, just tell me what you know" Stefan tells him.

"Huh" Damon says.

"It's Elena, Damon. If you know something, tell me" I tell him. He stands up and approaches me.

"I mean this sincerely. I hope Elena dies" he states before leaving.

Suddenly Stefan's phone rings and he answers after looking at the caller ID. "Elena? Are you okay?" he asks. "I can get it" he tells the person. It must be Anna. We look up to see Damon has reentered the room.

"Go ahead. Grovel again. Oh, wait no...I don't car" he tells us before leaving.

"Stefan I have an idea" I tell him. "Bonnie's not the only witch in town" I remind him smirking. He smiles and we leave heading for Bonnie's Grams place. We arrive and she answers the door. "Hi, I'm Roslyn" I tell her.

"Yes, Bonnie has told me about you" she states.

"We need your help" Stefan tells her.

"Bonnie and Elena were taken by other vampires. We searched all night and couldn't find them" I explain.

"Come in" she says and we enter the house. She grabs a map and does a locater spell fro Bonnie. She finds her at a motel and the room number. "Go, and bring her back to me safely" she tells us and we leave.

We arrived at the motel room and Stefan kicked the door in. I then opened the curtains, forcing the vampire to cower in the shadows. "Get outside" Stefan tells Elena, Bonnie and I. I take the girls to my car. We then go to Bonnie's Grams place once Stefan rejoins us.

We let Bonnie and Grams speak first before going in to discus the plan. "So what now?" Elena asks the room.

"Well, for now, you need to stay here" I tell her.

"A prisoner, in my own home? I don't think so" Grams states.

"I can't protect you if you leave this house" Stefan tells her.

"We can protect ourselves" Grams tells him.

"We need to let Damon have Katherine back" I tell them.

"She's right, he's not going to stop until he gets her. If we help him, maybe that ends it" Elena says agreeing with me.

"No! He doesn't deserve to get what he wants" Bonnie tells us.

"What other choice do we have?" Elena and I ask her.

"Witches being pulled down by vampire problems. As much as we tried to do to stay out of it. I'll open the tomb. You get your brother's girl and destroy the rest with fire. Then this will be all over" Grams tells us.

"We still have to get Damon to agree" I remind the others.

"He already agreed once" Elena reminds me.

"Yeah, before we double crossed him" I add.

"Now he's angry" Stefan tells her.

"He's hurt, there's a difference. I think I know what to do" Elena tells us. She then leaves while the rest of us gathered things needed to do the spell. We then go to the tomb where Stefan clears away debris and set up the torches. Elena soon joined us with Damon, the witches start to chant.

Soon the torches flare up and the door opens. Stefan and I go get the gasoline needed to kill the vampires. We reached the car and started to gather the cans. "Dark down there?" a guy asks and we turn to see Ben. With Jeremy unconscious at his feet.

"Thought I told you to leave" Stefan sneers.

"I considered it. Then I thought, screw you" Ben tells him.

"You shouldn't of gone after my cousin" I snarl and suddenly someone hits me in the back of my head. I black out.

Third Persons POV

"Hey hero" Anna says dropping the branch she used on Roslyn. "I'm going down there to get my mother" she tells him.

"I can't let you do that" Stefan tells her.

"Well, Ben's about to make a main course out of Elena's little brother. And Roslyn dessert. So, you can stop me or him. Your choice" she tells him before disappearing. Stefan soon dealt with Ben by burning him to a crisp before returning to the tomb entrance.

(Gilbert residence) Roslyn's POV

Elena helps Jeremy and I inside sitting us down. She got us both water and aspirin. She told me on the ride while Jeremy was unconscious what had happened. Apparently Katherine, wasn't in the tomb. Also that Anna got her mother out. But at least Stefan killed Ben, hopefully Anna will leave town with her mother.

"How are your heads?" she asks us.

"Sore" I tell her.

"Uh- it's alright. I just....I wish I knew how I passed out. I didn't drink that much, I swear" Jeremy tells us.

"And you don't remember anything?" I ask him.

"The whole things pretty cloudy. I just...I know how this looks. I'm -- I'm sorry" he tells us.

"You have nothing to be sorry for" I assure him.

"She's right, don't be sorry. You didn't do anything" Elena tells him. "I've got to head on over to Bonnie's for a little bit. But is there anything that you both need?" she asks us.

"No, I'm just...I'm gonna crash" Jeremy tells her.

"Same" I tell her.

"Okay, well, Jenna's here and I'll be back soon" Elena tells us. She leaves and I say goodnight to Jeremy. I go to my room and remove my shoes and jacket. Then crawled under the covers and fell asleep exhausted.
