Alexandria stood in front of the full length mirror next to her dressing table
She loved the dress her mother had given her an hour ago when she stepped out of her bathroom
It was a long sleeve red dress that clung to her body like second skin, the dress covered her upper body starting from the neck but exposed her right leg with the long slit
Her dress matched well with her white heels that barely covered beautiful feet
She admired the make-up she applied herself
Staying indoors had it's perks, she learnt new things on the internet to pass time, applying make-up was one of them
There was a knock at her door before the door opened revealing Nathan
His eyes widened at the view in front of him, his daughter looked more beautiful tonight
He couldn't admit it out loud, Alex had grown into a young beautiful woman it scared him that hungry men would be on the run to get her soon
"Dad" Alex grinned
"Hey little noodle" Nathan gave her a smile as he walked slowly to her
"Thank you for letting me go with you Papa" she said as her father stood in front of her
"Your mother didn't give me much of a choice" he chuckled "but it's about time I admit you're not growing any younger"
Alex smiled
"You look beautiful" he said before throwing his arm on her shoulder "come on ...it's time to go"
"Mmm" she nodded
Nathan led his daughter out of the room to the rest of his family as he made small talk with her
He took his sweet time knowing there was a chance he wasn't going to spend much time with her at the annual party
He needed to be away from her if he wanted to keep his sanity in check and not embarrass his daughter every time a young fellow asked her for a dance
No young man will ignore her tonight that's for sure and it seemed the Nowels were blessed with males around her age, be it family or family friend
"Have you seen her yet?" Jennifer asked anxiously
"No ...she couldn't let me in" Angelo shook his head
They stood next to each other facing the staircase awaiting for their other half of their family's arrival
"I feel nervous, he's been there for thirty minutes already" Jennifer said putting all her weight on one leg with her left arm on the others elbow
"Chill mom ...here they come" Angelo said as he smiled at his father and sister
Little noodle looked absolutely stunning tonight
He knew his sister was beautiful but what he was seeing in front of him couldn't was another level of beauty beauty
Finally he understood why father kept her in closed doors, she had to be kept away from the cavemen out there
"Omg" Jennifer whispered as she looked at her daughter descending down the stairs "she looks-"
"Beautiful, adorable, stunning, sophisticated, very very attractive" he smirked
"If you weren't my brother I'd think you have a thing for me Angel" Alex said as she stood in front of them with Nathan
"Maybe I do" he chuckled
"Well" she smiled leaving her father's side and snaking her arm around her brother's "kindly escort me to the car my admirer"
"With pleasure" Angelo smirked
