"So where are you coming from?" Louis asked as they entered his room
"The library" Alex showed him the book she had in her hands
"Oh" Louis took the book from her "The magic of thinking big ...hmm interesting" he said trying not to upset her
"It's a good book" Alex said
"You've started reading it?" He asked
"Uh no I just know it is"
Loui chuckled "I don't understand why you love books Lexi" he shook his head as he left the book on a table "why'd you like em so much"
Alex shrugged not wanting to explain it to him for the millionth time why books are important
"Come here" he said as he pulled her to him
He put his hands on her waist as he looked down to her with a smile on his face, they looked into each other's eyes
"Hey" he whispered
"Hi" she whispered back
Alex might've looked okay with him standing that close but deep down she wished she was anywhere but there
Being close to her at that moment made her realise how much unhealthy their relationship was
She didn't feel anything and they did nothing but made out everytime they were together, sure they watched movies but time to just sit down and talk was important too
It just dawned to her that majority of the time she spent with him was all about licking each other
They barely went out, if they did it was the bar she despised
"What are you thinking about?" He asked bringing her back to earth
"Nothing" she shook her head
"Sure?" He whispered
She nodded
Louis leaned down and placed his lips on hers and a Tyler flashed in her mind. Louis kissed her slowly not noticing that she wasn't responding
Alex couldn't do it anymore
She felt guilty, she was being unfaithful and she couldn't kiss him and be thinking of another guy
Louis was about to lead her to the bed when suddenly Alex pulled away
That earned a frown from him
Alex took her book and looked at him apologetically
"I'm sorry Loui" she said quietly
"Are you okay?" he asked
"I'm just ...not in the mood" she shook her head
Louis stared at her
What's going on
He was getting agitated, he knew she was no ordinary girl that was obvious. But his patience was growing thin but he told himself to wait longer
If he was to get what he wanted, he had to be good and understanding to her and most importantly be patient
He sighed
"Wanna get out of here?" He offered
"Patty's?" She asked
He held himself from rolling his eyes
"Yeah"
"Let's go"
He opened the door for her and she got out
