The day Alex was excited about had finally arrived
She packed everything that she needed and everything was put in her car boot
The family was currently outside bidding her farewell
"I wish we hadn't moved in Potterg, you would've been driving to college like I was doing" Jennifer said as she hugged her daughter "I'll miss you so much"
"I'll miss you more mom" Alex said as she pulled away
"I'll always be a call away if you need anything okay" Jennifer said wiping her face
"Don't cry mom" Alex pulled her mother into another hug trying hard not to let tears fall down her face
She was leaving her family, she wasn't going to see them for a few months, this was new to her
"Women and emotions" Angelo said as they pulled away
"I definitely won't miss you" Alex said as he pulled her in for a hug
"I know you will" he chuckled "you always do"
"Well I won't"
They pulled away with smiles on their faces
"Alright I guess you're good to go?" Nathan asked
Alex nodded as she sniffed
"Let's go then, it's going to be a long drive"
Nathan walked ahead of Alex as she followed closely behind, he was going to drive her to college
They entered the front seats of a silver Mercedes Benz before rolling the passenger door window
Alex waved at her mother and brother before Nathan pulled out of the driveway
"I'm proud of you Alex" Nathan said
"Thank you Papa" she smiled
"Well ground rules" he started
"Really?" She asked in disbelief
"Yes, no boyfriends, no drinking, no partying, no boy-friends, no walking around, no-"
"You're serious?" Alex asked in horror
She wasn't going to do some of those things but she wanted to have a feeling that she would do it if she wanted
"Dad I'm eighteen now"
"That doesn't mean you should be reckless, you're still my little noodle"
"Dad" she whined
Nathan chuckled at his hardness
"Alright I'm joking" he chuckled "just be careful okay? You might encounter some difficulties but know I'll always be here for you, I can't believe I'm saying this but you can date if you want to, If I don't let you you might as well do it behind my back"
Alex let out a nervous laugh know she had done that already
"So tell me about the special guy that's going to have a relationship with you yeah?" Nathan glanced at her for a second
"Sure you won't freak out if I tell you about him?"
"What? There's someone already?" He asked holding his temper
"No there isn't I'm just asking" she said all too quickly
"I won't freak out, if you hide it from me then I'll still know from your mother so there is running away from me little noodle"
"Well I'll make sure to fill you in" Alex laughed
"Good" he smiled proudly
Alex smiled at his dad as he drove her to college
