While I'm rolling on the other side I do it without any problem and I'm awake enough to realize that Scarlett is missing.
My hand that is on the spot were she should be it's cold sign that she left a while ago.

She said that she was going to leave in the morning.

Kinda sad the fact that she didn't even said goodbye.
But then I lift myself up using my elbow to look at the led clock that I have on my nightstand and it's 05:06 AM.

There is no way that she left this early.
So I jump out of bed and I start to go down upstairs pretty quickly but still paying attention to not make too much noise.
When I reach the last stair I see her at my left, standing by the fireplace where there is a little bookshelf that is more a decorative thing since I never ever erased more than 4 books in my entire life.
I see her amusing her fingers through
"What are you doing." I ask her a bit toughly that don't even sounds like a question.
She jumps a little getting scared by my unexpected presence.
"Shit you scared the shit out of me." she says placing her jeans on her chest dramatically.
"I was searching for a book to read." she says looking down to the pages of the book that she's holding.
"You are hangover and you are searching for a book to read?" I ask her trying to not laugh on her face.
"You still that nerd huh?" I ask her while my mind brings me back to when at school she used to read at the books that she had to return months ago and she just kept reading them multiple times pulling up her reading glasses (that looked more like bottles than glasses) with her index finger while her hair in a braid like Katniss from Hunger Games.

"You don't get enough to read at work?" I ask her giggling.
"Ha ha ha so funny." she says rolling her eyes and placing the book that she have in her hands right spot and only now I notice how every colour of the books covers are so coordinated to the book that is next to it.
"I'm so sober right now." she says taking another light blue cover book.
I ask myself what that book is about.
"It's better if I start to get ready, I have a long drive back to London." she says placing to book back without even looking at the title of it.
"I'm coming with you." I tell her.
She turns in my way and she frowns her eyebrows and I notice it even if I can't take my eye away from her funny massy hair.
She looks like she had a rough night.
She exhaled moving some of her hair away from her eyes and looks at me.
"You all are coming back too?" she asks.
"No we are suppose to stay few days more but I'm going to drive you back home and take an Uber to get back here." I tell her.
"And what's the ducking point of it?" she asks biting her lip like she's trying to not laugh right on my face.
"Listen Hero..." she says right when I open my mouth, placing her right hand on my chest.
"I appreciate it but I can handle hangovers and I'm no longer drunk, I had some good sleep so I can drive my ass back to London by myself. Stop treating me like a child." she says.

She's right. She did a grown woman now but this memory lost isn't helping with that too.
I can't believe it that even my sister is no longer a teenager now.

"Alright. I'm sorry indipendent woman." I say mocking her and following her till the kitchen.
"Hey do you have a place to stay in London right?" I ask a bit worried.
She looks at me looking over her shoulder.
"Of course I have a place to stay in London. Where do you think I was staying during this whole time? Under a bridge?" she says giggling.

She makes coffee felon her, tea for me and I make us some scrambled eggs.

After we ate the boys wakes up and she leaves the house.

Somehow I find myself thinking about Europe and about what Josephine is doing or in which of the many countries she is right now.

I decide to don't listen at one of Morgan's recommendation and I search her Instagram.
I start to scroll and I see Douglas all over the place. I guess they are really bonding.
What a better place to get even closer to someone if not in a trip even if is a business trip.
