Josephine's POV

"Shit" I yell almost falling from my chair.
"I'm sorry, I didn't wanted to scare you. I just bring you some coffee." Douglas says looking at me so desolate and still holding a paper cup.

I look around a bit lost and when I see the glass walls I figure out that I fell asleep in my office

I look around a bit lost and when I see the glass walls I figure out that I fell asleep in my office.
"Oh my God, I fell asleep." I say brushing off m hair away from my face and sitting with my back, straight.
"This will help." he says the black paper cup on my glass desk.

I look up at him while he is sitting on the chair right in front of me.
His hair are bit messy but that what makes him look so hot.
His hair are so bright today, his lips look so hydrated, maybe he put some lip balm on them.
He is chest and arms at wrapped in a nearby blue sweater and his legs are wrapped by black skinny jeans.
And the last touch are the black boots and the gold chain around his neck.

I can't lie to myself because if I do it will be like don't have eyes, he is looking tremendously hot even in this casual look.
"Thank you." I say placing my bungees around the paper coup and take it to my lips tasting the... cappuccino? He remembered? Wow that's impressive.
"Your welcome. It looks like someone here didn't slept last night." he says with a wry smile on his lips while I'm fascinated by his very British accent. To not talk about his voice.

"I cleaned up my house and bought some new stuff and everything. I'm so destroyed that every inch of my body is hurting ." I say massaging my temples.
"I could have helped you if you just texted me." he says very gently.
"Oh thank you but I wanted to do it by myself and I didn't wanted to text you at 2 AM." I tell him giggling.
"Of course. Independent woman." he says looking at me under his long brunette lashes while he hides his smile with his fingers.
"Exactly... you know Wyatt, is moving back to my apartment." he says and he looks at me with his roses eyebrows, word open eyes.
"Oh so you two are cool now?" he asks surprised.
"Yes. I mean we were cool even before but since he lost his memory... he doesn't knows about us..." I explain slowly.
"Wait... what? He lost his memory?" he asks growing his eyebrows.
"Yes." I say sipping my cappuccino trying to loose the knot around my throat.
"I mean he lost the memory of his last 4 years." I explain.
"Oh, so he doesn't remember of you?" he asks.
"Yeah." I tell him taking my eyes off him.
"So why is he moving in your apartment?" he asks confused.
"Because the doctors told him that staying in familiar places and with familiar people it will help him to get his memory back." I tell him.

He let his back lean on the headboard of the chair.
"Ohhh, now I got it so he thought of you since you were his roommate." he says getting immediately the point.
"Exactly." I say.
I see his eyes glaring at me trying to examine my feelings.
"And you are okay with it? I mean, you think you will be able to stay around him after what happened between you two?" he asks.
I don't know even why I'm conversing about this topic with him but it feels like I know him from years.
"Yeah, it will hard because I know that he will ask so many questions and also I'll have to deal with Sophie." I tell him using the character names since he read the book.
"You saw her?" he asks leaning forward so curious about it.
"Yes and guess what..." I tell him.
"What?" he asks waiting for me to reveal the thing.
"She kissed him on the mouth. They are in a relationship ... well they were in a relationship before the accident now that he forgot even about the last year, I don't know what will happen." I say sipping the cappuccino.
"That's crazy. So you can't even not let her in since he doesn't know about the thing." he says talking about the confession that she made at the Christmas Eve lunch.
