Hero's POV

Here I am. Waiting for my roommate, surrounded by people holding signs or just a paper with a common surname on it.
I stare at the guy that is standing right next to me.
He is holding some white roses.

I thought it was so old fashion but every my belief seems to became a sham since when I hit my head because all the old fashion things are now a trend.

I look at him with the corner of my eyes and I see him so tense and I can feel his brands getting sweaty around the white paper of the bouquet.

His cheeks are blushing and his breathe is irregular.
I guess he is waiting for his sweet half.

I see on the screen that flight where Josephine and Douglas were in is already landed.
People are starting to reach the waiting area where there is a massive sign with wrote Arrivals.

I see a black haired girl starting to running trying to not smash on other people's shoulders.
Her wavy hair start to move following her motions, her eyes are filling up with tears.
I see the guy that was standing next to me do some step forward and his arms go down and opens up.
She literally jumps on him and he immediately catches her.
She hides her face on his neck and wraps her legs around his hips.
He holds her up and she cries on his shoulder.

After few minutes she gets down.
I finally get to see her face.
Her mascara is melding under her eyelashes but the way she's looking at him trying to calm down her hiccups.
He grabs gently her face and presses his lips on hers and then I get distracted by a figure that I catch with the corner of my eye.
I look left and see Josephine and Douglas walking towards me.

I smile seeing her eyes already on me.
She's wearing grey sweats and her hair are tied in a bun.

For the first time ever I see him wearing sweats and I get so surprised by that.
I notice their hands that are interlocked to each other but when she gets closer enough she let his hand go and she leaves the handle of the suitcase and open her arms.
While she is reducing the distance between us I get to give a look at her no longer pale skin, specially the one that is on her neck and the marks seems have magically disappeared.
She looks so relaxed.
She seems a new person.

"Hey." she says once she's into my arms with her arms wrapped around my shoulders.
"Hey." I say a bit overwhelmed by her being this affectionate.
I get to smell her scent and it she smells like her apartment even if she wasn't there.
At this point I guess that the apartment smells like her.
"I see you so great." I say stepping back and looking at her face.
"I see you doing great too." she says looking at my lip and my cheeks.
She can't stop smiling and this almost takes my breathe away.
This book signing really had a good effect on her.
A bark makes me take my eyes away from Josephine and look at my left where I see Barry  next to a guy I've never seen that is hugging Douglas.
I guess is the friend that Josephine talked about.

I look better at the guy and his clothing style is different from Douglas. His is more casual, more close to mine.
He is wearing a black cap like me a sweater, skinny jeans and white Nike.

An amazing day to wear white shoes, I think
since is a typical rainy day in London.

I look at his messy hair coming out from the cap while I smartly tied my hair up and then covered them with the cap.
His eyes are light blue and his cheeks and chin are covered by a hint of beard but his is more manly than mine. When I grow mine I look like a goat because it concentrates only on my chin.
