"Oh hey Arisu, feeling better?" I walk into class seeing Jirou.
"Yeah, thanks for asking." I smiled sitting in my seat.
"How's your arm?" She points to the bandages that still cover my upper right arm.
"Fine, I got a kick ass scar now. It wraps around my arm like a band or really weird tattoo," I describe it.
"Nice." She laughed a bit, not expecting my description.
"I wonder how Aizawa is doing though." I thought out loud.
"Oh yeah, I heard he got hurt the most, second to Thirteen at least." Jirou said.
"I wouldn't be surprised if he took a few days off." I shrugged.
A few seconds after I said that Aizawa came through the door as if it were his queue. He was covered head to toe in bandages like a cocoon. So basically nothing changed except the cocoon this time is an off white instead of a bright yellow.
"Ahh a mummy!" Someone yelled.
"Are you sure you should be here?" I asked.
"Yes, I'm fine, besides, we have matters to discuss." He brushes our concerned faces off like we were the crazy ones.
"Umm, do you know how thirteen is doing?" Someone else chimes in.
"They are currently getting the care they need. Now we have to focus on the matters at hand. The U.A sports festival is coming up so of course you will all be participating." Aizawa explained.
"Should we really have the sports festival after an attack?"
"There will be maximum security, not only that but it is mainly U.A based so we should be good to go." He said.
The class instantly bursts into a discussion. The sports festival has always been a big deal. Everyone I've ever known or talked to watches it. Even some international mutuals I've come to know thanks to my sister and the Internet are invested.
It's also of course a big deal for my family. According to my dad it's "The best way to get yourself out there." Since it's your "First big step into the heroing business." Which I guess to a degree he isn't wrong, I just hate the way he gets invested in the advertising aspect like hero's are some walking dollar sign.
My brother and sister both participated of course. My brother got 1st every year he participated, my sister landed top 4 every time. She got 4th place her 2nd year, that was a mess in our house. Clearly I'm expected to at least be top 3, always aiming for No.1. My mother says no pressure but she can only lie to me so much.
"Everyone." Uraraka starts as she stands up, "I PROMISE TO DO MY BEST!" She yells.
"Of course." I responded.
"I'm so excited!" Mina says.
"Aren't we all?" Yaoyorozu laughs.
We open the door to leave class only to be faced with what looks like all the first years from every section crowded at the door.
"What's going on?" A few of my classmates rightfully question.
"Why are you here? What business do you have with us?" Iida demands.
"Just looking at our competition." A boy with purple hair and undistinguishable eyes said.
"Yeah that was quite obvious, now get out of my way." Katsuki sighs.
"Oh you haven't heard?" The boy says.
"If one of us performs better than you we have the chance of replacing you" Another kid adds in.
