"Round two's the last one! You examines will venture into the ruins as bystanders and prove your worth when it comes to rescuing innocents!" The announcement said.

"Rescue?" I repeated.

This shouldn't be hard. I mean our rescue training got a little...interrupted before we even got the chance to start it or even discuss it further...I got top of the class in the hero entrance exam thanks to rescue points and I helped Mizukai rescue a few people.

"You will not act as ordinary civilians, but as those who hypothetically earned their provisional licenses. You're being tested on how well you respond in rescue situations."

I raised my eyebrow as old people and kids
walked through the ruins.

"Everyone there is a highly trained professional rescuer, and in very high demand as of late! Please welcome the good people of Help us Company, or H.U.C. for short."

Imagine being a "professional rescue" "A professional damsel in distress"...

"The members of H.U.C. will be feigning injuries all across the field. It is your task to rescue them. You will all be scored on how well you perform these rescues. Those who attain the required amount of points by the end will pass. We'll start in ten minutes, so take your bathroom breaks now."

"You know the entire time I was here they didn't think once to turn on those damn tvs. It would have made me feel a lot better knowing I could see what's happening." I started complaining.

"You were that worried?" Katsuki asked, overhearing me.

"Yeah, I didn't know where anyone was and I wanted to make sure you all were able to make it, especially you."

"Especially me? WAIT WHAT IS THAT SUPPOSED TO MEAN?!" He yelled, taking offense.

I pushed him. "Not like that you dipshit, it wasn't supposed to be an insult to your abilities or however the hell you took it. I meant I wanted to know where you were. You could have been lighting something on fire for fun instead of getting your last person which is why you were late but at least I would have seen it."

He blinks a few times. "Ok, I guess I see what you're saying...but whats with the example? Why the hell would I be doing that?"

"I don't know." I sighed.

Only about 9 minutes had passed but another announcement started to be made. I assumed the announcement was going to take a minute because our break time was cut short. "Terrorists have launched a massive attack!" There's a wide-scale destruction throughout the city. Buildings are collapsing and people are hurt! With most of the roads out of commission, rescue and relief squads are having a hard time reaching the scene. Until they arrive, it's up to you heroes to take charge and rescue civilians. Save every life you can!"

That's our little fake scenario? I can make do with that.

The building unfolded like it did in the beginning and I immediately started running out. Izuku started to talk about going about this as a team again but I already saw the first person I could save. It appears to be some guy laying on the ground with his leg being crushed.

I don't know what "hero mode" entails but being a decent human being with empathy has gotten me pretty far.

"Sir I'm here to help you," I begin as I run up to him. "Is there anything other than your leg that hurts?"

"N-no. Just please get me out of here." He begged.

Wow these guys are good.

"I'm going to, let me look around. Do you have a name sir?" I asked him while I inspected the large piece of a building that was on top of his leg.
