Chapter 35

A couple months, and a few more family arguments later, the dorms were finished and it was time to move in. They called our class building 'Heights Alliance.' We all gathered in front of it.

"It's huge!" Sato said, looking up.

"We're some lucky kids!" Mina commented.

"Now then class 1-A. I'm glad to see you all here." Aizawa greeted us.

"Looks like everyone got permission to move in." Sero said as he looked around the group.

"It was an uphill battle for me." Hagakure sighed.

"Makes sense." Jirou mumbled.

"Right, probably because you two were injured by the gas and hospitalized." Orjiro concluded.

"And we're glad to see you here too, sensei. I was sad because I thought you might've not come back after the press conference." Tsu said.

"I'm surprised too." Aizawa said. "But well a lot has happened. Anyway, I'm going to give you a tour of your dorms, but before that, the training camp was meant to earn you your provisional license, and that is still our goal."

"Oh yeah, that's right." Kirishima exclaimed, "I forgot that's what we were doing!"

"With all that fuss I completely forgot." Kaminari added.

I honestly forgot we were there for the license by day 2, forget about the commotion.

"Listen up, this is important." Aizawa brought our attention back to him. "Todoroki, Kirishima, Yaoyorozu, Midoriya, Iida. On that night you five headed out to save Bakugou and Neri."

A part of me hoped everyone forgot that even happened. I knew it was unrealistic but I didn't want to keep going back to that topic.

"I think you all understand the consequences of those actions." Aizawa continued. "The issue has been swept under the rug for now, but let me say this much, if not for All Might's retirement I would have expelled every single one of you except Jirou, Hagakure, Bakugou, and Neri. The chaos is sure to continue now that he is retired. The five who went of course, but also the twelve who did nothing to stop them. Your reasons aside, the fact remains that you betrayed our trust. From now on, if you follow procedure and behave properly, you might regain that trust. That's all. Now look lively and get a move on."

I looked around and saw everyone disheartened after that speech, either looking to the ground or to the sky, avoiding eye contact.

Look lively? This is the second time we've almost faced people getting expelled.

"Come." Katsuki snapped me out of my thoughts. I turned and saw him drag Kaminari by the collar of his shirt.

"What? Me? No!" Kaminari whaled.

Katsuki pulled the boy behind a bush. After a moment of silence there was a blast of Electricity. Kaminari appeared from behind the bush but in his, overexertion, or idiotic state.

"Yay-" He said as he put his two thumbs up, causing the class to laugh at his behavior.

"That's one way to do it." I laughed.

A little while later we finally got that tour from Aizawa of the building.

"One class in each building." He explained as we walked with him. "Boys to the left, girls to the right. The first floor is a common area. Your dining halls, baths, and laundry rooms are here.

I looked around at the open area of the first floor. Plenty of space, lounging areas, entertainment, tables.

"So spacious!" Mina awed.
