"Alright the exam is coming up so you'd better prepare yourself." Aizawa lectures us one more time.

"I barely took notes this whole semester!" Kaminari complains, he had placed 21/21 on the midterm.

While Kaminari starts to ramble, terrified of the exam Mina starts to laugh nervously trying to recollect herself, "I barely took notes either- it'll be fine." She placed 20/21

"Yeah me either, I barely read anything." Tokoyami, placed 15/21

"We barley learned anything when we took our midterms so they didn't seem all that hard but I'm kinda worried about these. We've been through a lot, and they probably won't pull any punches when it comes to testing us" Sato, placed 13/21, added, while Kouda, 12/21, just nodded

"As someone who ranked top 10, im not too worried about it." Mineta bragged, just barely placing 10/21.

"WHAT YOU PLACED TENTH IN THE MIDTERMS?!" Kaminari and Mina yelled.
"Aw man, and here I thought you were one of us!"
"Don't you know weirdo little creeps like you are only slightly likable if they're stupid?! Who's going to love you now?"

"Everyone, trust me." He leaned back in his chair.

"Ashido! Kaminari! We've still got time to study! That way we'll all be able to go  together right?" Izuku, placed 4/21, cheered.

Iida, 2/21, raised his hand, "Yes! As class rep I have high hopes that we'll make U.A proud!"

"It's pretty hard to fail if you just pay attention in class, isn't it?" Shoto, placed 6/21, asked.

"Yeah you can do that, or just make enough educated guesses." I shrugged. I had placed surprisingly 5/21.

"Ouch." Kaminari dramatically grabbed his heart.

"Tests are usually about memorization rather than testing your actual IQ. The part that tests your IQ is how you go about them." I explained.

"-Like studying." Yaoyorozu, 1/21, chimed in, "I can help catch you up to speed on important topics if you'd like."

"You're the best Yaomomo!" Kaminari cried.

"Arisu, aren't you really bad with math? How did you place so high?" Kirishima, placing 16/21, asked me.

"Well I was going to say how making educated guesses is usually the best course of action if you're bad at memorizing. Like catching patterns and stuff. When it comes to math I understand the equations, I'm just shit with numbers. So I guess the closest number." I explained.

"So instead of memorizing text you memorize patterns?" Mina asked me.

"Kinda? That's the most simple way to put it." I shrugged.

"I'm studying with you." Mina said.

"Is that not just studying regularly?" Yaoyorozu asked me.

"I have a smarter not harder mindset, you're responsible. There is a difference." I admitted. "Trust me."

"I think I should study with her." Kirishima pointed at Yaoyorozu talking to Katsuki.

"You think I don't know enough?! Maybe I should beat the lessons into your skull!" Katsuki yelled, placed 3/21.

Lunch rolled around. Instead of sitting with anyone I decided to try and find my two favorite 3rd years.

They already had their exam, I'll just ask them about it so I know what to expect.

I quickly spotted Mirio sitting with some people but Tamaki was nowhere to be seen.
