Chapter 22

Aizawa starts class the next day, "I know you're all excited for the summer but dont think you'll be resting"

"So we're going to..." I say edging him on

"You'll be at a training camp in the woods"

"Alright!" Kaminari says high-fiving Kirishima

"All the campfires... " Mina starts
"Baths" Mineta fills in.
"Maybe there will be fireworks." Uraraka pitches in.
"Hot springs" Mineta melts in his chair.
"Please tell me there will be good food." I plead.
"Skinny dipping.." Mineta finishes his fantasy and sits back up.

"This will be quite a different experience." Yaoyorozu says.

"I mean most of us are used to cities, buildings, or towns but I think the point is to push us out of our comfort zone, you know...like everything we do" I point out the obvious.

"A group experience,"
"Hanging out with everyone,"
"Hav-"
"However" Aizawa cuts off Mina and Hakagure.
"If you don't pass your exam you will not be allowed to go and instead attend summer school."

"Ugh" Kaminari groans.

"Of course there's a 'however'" Mina mocked.

"This is so stupid and boring." Katsuki complains. "A summer camp?"

"Who knows something interesting could happen." I shrug.

"And summer school?" He he adds on.

"Just don't fail." I point out the obvious.

"Heyyy Arisuuu," Mina slides over next to me.

"And what does Mina Ashido want this time?" I tease.

"You need to hang out with us more." She demands crossing her arms.

"I do hang out with you." I protested.

"Yeah every blue moon. Meet me, Kiri, Denki, Sero, and Bakugou at the arcade by the pear." She smiles. She turns on her heels and walks the opposite direction to her house.

"Wouldn't miss it for the world-" I was cut off before I could finish my sarcastic remark.

"Nice to see you too pikachu." I laughed.

"How can you teleport and you're still late?" I see Katsuki come from behind Kirishima.

"I'm 5 minutes late, calm down explodo boy." I rolled my eyes.

"Quit talking and come grab these tokens." Sero asks, holding up cups for all of us.

"Sero you're too kind." I smiled while taking one.

"I wanna play Zombie Land first!" Mina exclaimed, waving us all inside.

I guess that's the first game we're playing

When I walk in I'm consumed by the sound of coins and tickets everywhere and my eyes adjust to the dark room and the bright neon lights.

I stand next to Mina and grab one of the fake toy guns.

"Ready to shoot some zombies?" She asks me.

"Deadass?" I joked.

By the end of it, I had 10 more points than Mina. If you do the math that means I killed 3 more zombies than her and assisted with one.

"No fair! My gun was glitchy." She huffed. I just laughed.

"Dance dance revolution." I saw Kaminari's eyes light up as he approached the game. Mina ran behind him to get to the one next to his. Sero and Kirishima waited behind them watching, ready for their turn. When the music started the two eagerly started stepping on the light up arrows. The song slowly got faster and it seemed like both of them were able to keep up, Mina more gracefully than Kaminari.
