Chapter 31

[This might be the longest chapter I've written so far]

Shoji walked through the bushes hearing commotion on the other side. When he stepped through they saw a girl with two blond buns who had Uraraka pinned against the ground and Asui to the side helpless.

The blond heard the rustle of the bushes and sighed, "No good. There's too many of you now, and I don't want to die. Bye-bye!!"

She disappeared into the woods without another word.

"Wait!" Uraraka yelled after her.

"Careful, we still don't know exactly what her quirk is." Asui stopped her.

"Who was she?" Midoriya asked.

"A villain...she was crazy." Uraraka explained.

"She said her name was Toga." Asui looked back in the direction of where the blond ran.

"Uraraka you're hurt!" Midoriya exclaimed.

"I'm fine I can walk," She waved, "but look at you, Deku!"

"This is no time to stand around, we have to keep moving." Todoroki instructed.

"I'm just glad you two are okay," Midoriya sighed. "Oh! Come with us! We're guarding Kacchan and heading to camp."

"Huh? Guarding Bakugou?" Uraraka asked.

"Where is he?" Asui added.

"Huh? WHat do you mean? He's right behind us-..." Midoriya said as he turned around, however Bakugou was nowhere to be seen.

When Todoroki and Shoji turned around to look for him as well, the path was empty.

"Looking for him?" A voice behind them cooed.

Everyone turned around and looked up. They were faced with a masked man perched in the trees, looking down on them like an owl.

"I've taken him with my magic." The mystery man began. "He's not a resource that belongs on the heros' side. We're going to put him on a stage where he can really shine."

"Give him back!" Midoriya demanded.

"Give him back? Weird choice of words. Bakugou doesn't belong to anyone." The man repeated.

"Give him back!" Midoriya yelled once more.

"Move." Todoroki said as he shot pillars of ice toward the masked figure.

"Sorry, we're just a bit fanatical when it comes to our values." The villain sighed as he swiftly avoided the attempted attack with ease. "All we want to do is show him that there are other ways; because kids these days...you have your values chosen for you."

"It's not just Bakugou..." Shoji pointed out, "Tokoyami and Arisu are gone..."

He took three from the back unnoticed and is only now coming out of hiding? What is his quirk? Why didn't he run? Todoroki thought.

"There was no need for him to confront us. He's mocking us." Todoroki concluded.

"Sorry for my bad habit," The masked man played with three marbles that were in his hand, "Taking Tokoyami was ad-libbing. Taking a Neri? Well that's just extra points. Moonfish...ol' blade tooth...Even a natural born homicidal maniac like him was trampled by your rampaging friend so I decided to take him. As for Neri, let's just say her family and Shigaraki have a lot of history."

He's been spying on us since then?! Todoroki realized

"You can't take them you jerk!" Midoriya yelled in an attempt do do something again.
