"I'm sorry I caused so much trouble!" Izuku exclaimed, bowing his head as he walked into class the next day. His suspension days were up and they were able to come back to class. Katsuki on the other hand was still dorm bound.
"Alright, now that Midoriya's back it's time you all heard the full story about the internship," Aizawa announced. "You can come in now."
The door slid open and I tilted my head to get a look at who was walking out.
You're kidding me.
Mirio, Tamaki, and Nejire all walked out in front of our class.
"You're kidding." I repeated myself out loud.
"Oh hey Arisu." Mirio smiled and waved at me. Nejire followed his lead and Tamaki just nodded his head at me.
"Hello, Mirio." I mumbled.
"How do you just know everyone?" Jirou leaned over to ask me.
"I talk to a lot of different people." I shrugged.
"We'll be hearing about how it'll be different from your workplace experience directly from a few who have gone through it themselves," Aizawa continued to explain. "Now, they've taken time out of their busy schedules to talk to you, so make sure you listen carefully to what they have to say."
busy schedule my ass, they're in school. I'm pretty sure Tamaki has math right now.
"Even amongst the current crop of students, they're the three who reign at the top of U.A. The so called, 'Big Three.' "
In my opinion, the top three sounds better than the big three. I told this to them before but the only one that agreed was Tamaki. Nejire said it sounds more official and powerful and Mirio said it sounded like they were just big and mighty. I still thought it was dumb.
"Could you all give a brief self-introduction?" Aizawa asked them. "Let's start with Amajiki."
Oh boy...
I tried to give an encouraging thumbs up but it was no use. He had a menacing glare that he never means to do, it's just him zoning out or focusing. I saw my classmates all shrink in anticipation for what this seemingly scary man was going to say.
"It's no use, Mirio, Hado...No matter how much I try to imagine them as potatoes, everything except their heads stays human, so I can only see them as people. What should I do? The words won't come out." He crumbled under the pressure before signing and giving up. "My mind's gone blank. This sucks." Ignoring everything else, he turned around and just faced the wall.
If I'm not mistaken he did that to me the first time we met. It's like he just puts his head against the wall and hopes it all goes away, I don't blame him. Seems like something we all want to do.
"I wanna go home."He mumbled still against the wall.
"He's... one of the top of the department of heroes, right?" Ojiro asked.
"I wouldn't underestimate him." I hummed. "Besides, not everyone can be loudmouthed and cheery twenty four seven."
"Hey, hear that Amajiki?" Nejire smiled and began to laugh. "They call that being chicken! Yup! Even though you're human! Weird, right?"
"Except for the other two." I sighed.
She turned back to Ojiro and pointed at Tamaki over her shoulder. "This guy's the chicken, Tamaki Amajiki, and my name's Nejire Hado. We were requested to come talk to you all about the internships!" She then began to jump around the class, asking everyone random questions.
