After drying off my hair and setting it off on the racks that were left in the hallways for us I overheard a conversation.

"Your face was bright red." I heard Kirishima's voice remark.

"Okay but it wasn't as red as Bakugou's!" Kaminari's voice defended himself.

"True, but all I'm saying is Todoroki started to match the red half of his hair." I overheard Sero's voice in the conversation.

"Would you shittheads stop talking about it and get to bed?!" I heard Katsuki's voice pop up. It sounded like he was down the hallway but caught up to them.

"Don't act like we didn't see you." Sero laughed.

Kaminari picked up, "you're no better than anyone else."

"WOULD YOU-"

I turned the corner and suddenly they all grew silent. "Goodnight to you too I guess." I scratched my scalp checking how wet it still was as they stood there staring at me. Kaminari nudged Katsuki who looked like he wanted to kill him.

"Hey you!" I heard a voice behind me. I turned and saw Kota.

Shouldn't he be in bed by now...

"Oh hey Kota, I'm glad to see you're doing better." I smiled.

"Yeah whatever. Why did you say you hated sympathy before you ran back into the woods?" He cut straight to the point.

"Oh uh, I don't know, it's just something I say before I do something stupid with the intentions of helping other people." I shrugged.

"Isn't that just something a heroes are supposed to do?" He crossed his arms.

"There's a difference. When I say it I mean I'm going to do something stupid without thinking because I feel sympathetic. Heroes are supposed to put people first but they can't be stupid about it." I explained, "It's one thing to run back into a forest when you already made it out because you hear your friends struggling, it's another thing to want to help someone and take a more professional route because it's probably safer."

He stood there thinking for a minute, "I don't get it."

"And I don't expect you to."

"But don't heroes do stupid things sometimes?" He asked. "God you guys are confusing."

"You don't have to tell me twice." I laughed a bit to myself as he walked away still with his thinking face on.

I entered the sleeping quarters and fell asleep as soon as I shut my eyes.

The next morning we walked outside with the morning fog still thick in the horizon and the morning dew making the ground damp. I could barely keep my eyes open, wanting to collapse on the ground and sleep. I'm not particularly a fan of mornings.

"Morning class." Aizawa started, gaining our attention. "Today the real training camp begins. Ideally, you will all emerge stronger. Strong enough to acquire your provisional license."

The permit test of heroines. Already?

"There's a growing hostile force out there." Aizawa continued, "Through this, you will be prepared to face it. So stay sharp and work hard. To start," He threw a ball at me, "Throw this."

"...from the quirk assessment test?" I mumbled trying to wake myself up.

"Last time, right after school started, your record was 15670.8 meters. How much have you grown since then?"

"Looking at how I was back then, I'd argue a good amount." I replied, stepping up. I tried to take my anger on the fact that I was abruptly woken by a loud alarm this morning into the power of my swing. I threw it out into the open. When I turned my body to the cold air it seemed to have woken me up.
