Shoto was here for like 3 hours last night and I completely forgot to mention the new dorms. Oh well, I guess they're visiting us soon anyways...

I was finally dispatched from the hospital. Jei took it upon herself to pick me up and then take me to the police station.

"Thanks for the ride." I said getting in the car with her.

"Yeah no problem, although it's really just an excuse to get out the house." She said.

When I stopped by the police station, I guess All Might actually put in a word for me because I was out quicker than I expected. I think the Stain incident took longer and that was a way shorter incident from my perspective than this.

When I got back home, my father was on the couch reading the newspaper like he usually was around this time for his break. "I hope those bandages will not be a problem in public." He gestured to the bandage I still had wrapped around my head.

"No, they make me look more badass, like a fighter." I responded sarcastically.

"Language!" I heard my mother yell from the back.

"If that's how you carry yourself, sure. They do make you sound weak in the paper though." He sighed flipping to the next page.

"I beg to differ." I glanced at the other paper on the counter. The only picture I saw of myself was me mid-action during the festival. "Besides. No one reads newspapers anymore. The majority of publicity comes from television and online articles." I mentioned walking past from the living room.

You would know that.

"I suppose. But still, I just feel as though your name, our name, has been thrown around a lot recently." He started. "I'm just saying to be mindful about what affects come from your actions."

"Of course." I curled my lips into a flat smile as I walk away.

"Arisu." My mom calls me into the dining room where she was sitting.

"Hm?" I asked, walking through the door. When I walked in I saw her at the end surrounded by paperwork in front of her computer. She usually works from home when she feels too anxious to step out of the house.

She takes her reading glasses off, "Your father and I are just troubled and want the best for you, you know this don't you?" I just nodded. "Good because you've started to become smart with us and I don't like your attitude recently."

I've gone through more traumatic events than someone should my age but whatever you say.

"Ok." I turn on my heels and go to my room finally. When I get there I fall onto my bed.

I forgot how comfortable this thing is

While I'm in the kitchen making myself a snack I hear a knock at the door.

"Arisu, can you get the door?" My mom asked me from the dining room.

"Jei! Get the door!" I called into the living room where my sister was sitting.

"I heard mom tell you to get it!" She replied.

"You're closer!" I argued.

When Jei opened the door I heard a few familiar voices.

"Aizawaa." Jei greeted like she was meeting an old friend, "and All Might?"

"Jei- nice to see you're back in town." I heard Aizawa greet her sort of sarcastically.

"They're here." My mom realized as she sprung from her seat and rushed to the living room. "Arisu, text your father."

I pulled out my phone and told my dad to hurry up. He was out in the backyard for some reason. I think on a call. I walked out to the living room and saw Aizawa and All might sitting in front of my mother and Jei. I sat next to Jei on the end of the couch and my father later followed from behind me.

"Sorry to keep you waiting, I was working out back." My father apologized as he went to shake their hands.

"Don't worry Mr. Neri, we know you and your family are busy people." Aizawa stated.

"Do you gentlemen want anything?" My mother asked as she folded her glasses on her lap.

"No thank you, we have quite a few houses to see." All Might declined.

"Ah, is this about the doormatories?" My father asked.

"Yes. I see you've heard the news already." Aizawa nodded. "We just need your permission."

"Of course it's fine with us." My dad smiled.

"Why didn't we get dorms?" Jei asked, muttering her question under her breath.

"Because your class wasn't constantly trying to be killed." I mumbled.

"Oh so getting kidnapped is the qualification for dorms now?" She retaliated.

"I'm so sorry you weren't attacked at summer camp." I sarcastically pouted.

"GIRLS!" My mother yelled, scaring us both. "The dorms would be fine with us." She smiled as me and Jei were frozen in our seats.

"Glad to hear it." Aizawa stood up with All Might following suit.

"Have a lovely day." All Might waved as they exited.

As soon as the door shut both my parents turned around to scold us.

"She started it." Jei pointed at me.

"She was disrespectful first." I argued pointing at her.

"You two are ridiculous." My father spat.

"Arisu what did I just tell you about being smart?" My mother asked.

"I wasn't-"
"I don't want to hear it. You too." She turned to Jei. "You should be a role model for your sister, not rile her up."

"Everything we have done for you, everything we have given you." My father started.

I won't go into detail about what my parents started yelling about. Mainly because I stopped paying attention since they mixed in so many different arguments from past conversations. I've heard it all before. Good impression this, hospitality that. Disrespectful this, 'you're hurting the family name' that. They went on to the point where they were critical of how we were sitting. Aizawa taught both of us, All Might knows me, and they still have to visit the Bakugo's. It was too late for 'good impressions.' Could we have been more respectful? Sure, but me sitting on one of my legs on a couch is not going to damage that.

"Go to your rooms." My father sighed.

"I'm 19-"
"Go." He interrupted Jei's excuse.

I was already halfway up the steps before Jei caught up. "All I'm saying is look at Io. His grade needed dorms too. Everyone who goes to that school does." She said.

"I agree everyone needs it...but I'm not going to lie, I don't think what happened to Io would have been avoided if they had dorms." I sighed.

"Maybe not but it could've helped." She spat as she slid into her room and shut the door.

"Hey," Jei enters my room. "I got this keychain for you when I was in Canada."

She throws down a Canadian leaf keychain onto my bed, landing next to Pea. "It's so tourist-y" I inspected it. Pea tilted her head at it like she was inspecting what had appeared next to her too.

"That's not the only thing I got..." she reveals a bag she's holding with her opposite hand. "Weird candy from at least 3 different countries...wanna try them with me?" She smirked.

"Absolutely." I laughed and spring out of my bed.

Knowing this is how you're apologizing, I accept your apology.
