I went to go follow all the U.A students to a table where Izuku and Mirio were explaining what happened when they saw Eri. All that I got from it was that she's the one who ran into them before they ran into Overhaul. That was before I was called to a side room with none other than Sir Nighteye.

Oh, wonderful.

"Sasaki, look if this is about what I said about Rock Lock you and I both know I will talk back to people who talk smart first." I said after I closed the door behind me walking in. It was a small makeshift office but I had no idea who it belonged to.

"No, that's not why I called you in here." He said while he leaned against the desk, facing me. "Eraser Head is out there right now, or at least walking out there, to tell all his students that you have a choice to make."

"A choice?" I repeated.

"Originally, your classes' internships would have been suspended after hearing about the League's involvement. Mirio and the other two would have been fine seeing as how they're third years and not as at stake right now. Eraser decided that you are all too eager to jump into anything to try and stop. Knowing you and now knowing your green haired friend in there I agree on you all being too eager to prohibit things." He continued.

"That's great and all, and I'm glad Aizawa and you finally recognize that in all of us but I'm not understanding where the choice is coming in." I raised an eyebrow.

"All of your help has been great up to this point but there is no demand for you to continue. You and your classmates' roles would be small. It's your choice from this point on whether you would like to join us and help or not." He finally got to the point.

"Of course I will." I blurted. "After going through all that and learning what that girl has gone through there's no way in hell I'm just 'leaving it here.'"

"I thought you would say that." He chuckled a bit which seemed off.

"Obviously. But I just don't understand why you're telling me this and not Aizawa with the rest of them." I questioned.

"Well..." Sasaki began.

"Here it comes." I meant to think in my head but I braced myself out loud.

"I'm just not sure you're ready." He said coldly. Words he's said before but this time was different. This time it was like being stabbed in the heart slowly with a long sharp sword. All the other times could be brushed over, this time was personal.

"You're kidding." I laugh. "You're kidding me, you have to be."

"Arisu—"
"No no no. This is a joke...I've trained with you my whole life, you've watched me get stronger every time I see you, you've watched me grow up and you still don't think I'm ready? Excuse my language but how much shit have I gone through this year and come out not only alive but stronger and yet I'm still not ready? When will you trust me enough to get out there?"

"You're being naive. You still have so much to learn and so much more growing." He said.

"I'm the naive one? I have valuable information and experience with the case we are working on and you are denying my help just because you don't believe in me." I argued.

"I believe in you. You know I do. I always have!" He objected.

"No you don't because you're more willing to let my classmates get involved than you are me! That's why you pulled me here separately." I concluded.

"Because I don't know them.—"

"OH! So now we're just just letting anyone risk their lives as long as you don't know them?! Yeah let anyone go, except for her because I know her parents?!"
