I think we have the wrong idea of what strength truly is.
It is not the ability to lift up ten ton anvils,
Nor is it the ability to pull a vehicle with just a rope tied around your waist.
Not that these aren't admirable feats that any soul should be proud of oneself for achieving,
But what about the ones where one is able to stand up upon the soles of their feet after being defeated?
Surely the latter takes a much greater toll on the person than the formers.
It is not the ability to do numerous push ups,
But the ability to push oneself back up.
It is not the ability to do fifty chin ups,
But the ability to keep one's chin up.
It is the ability to be as firm as a mountain
all the while outside forces try to eat away and erode through that tough exterior that was spent years building up.
It is the growth and endurance of the greatest muscle — the mind.
