it's the little things that does it for me
from the sun's rays warming me up
to the acoustic guitar instrumentals flooding my ears like hot tea flowing into a cup
it's the little things that makes me feel whole
from the aromatic smells of that scented candle
to those nights with him that feel so surreal I have to remind myself of it by flipping through those scenes in my mind like changing channels
it's the little things
that gives me such a rush of euphoria
people ask that I'm high
it's the little things
that gets me so drunk
I fall in love with life
but only for a moment
because they are little and can't last long
but in the moment they seem huge
and I can do nothing but wish it lasts forever
