Chapter 14

I had stayed at Jake's all night. I never once even called my mom to tell her where I was at. She kept calling but I never answered.I was still hurt from yesterday and I didn't wanna face her.I was still in bed and saw that Jake wasn't by my side.I slide out of bed and put on my shirt from yesterday. I walk out of his room and see him coming my way.

"Hey baby." He says kissing me.

"Hey." He says.

"So we headed to school?" I said.

"Not today . Look we can do whatever you . Let's just have day for only us." He says.

"Fine with me." I said.

"Alright let's get changed then." He says handing me bag.

"What's this?" I said.

"A bag of fresh clothes." He says.

"Thank you." I say kissing his cheek.

I ended up showering and then put on the fresh clothes. Jake had used the other bathroom to change. We then headed downstairs and exited the hiuse. I had noticed that we were the only ones home. I thought he lived with his family. When we got into his car I noticed a homeless girl walking up to his home. She had blonde hair,a brown coat,grey beanie'and dirty brown pants on. She loked sad and hurt. She had nice eye color but when I saw her face correctly I realize I have seen her before. She was the girl who bullied me at school my first day. I felt bad for her. She always look like a girl with class but I guess I was wrong. After a while we ended up leaving but I noticed the girl stayed by Jake's home.

"Isa are you okay?" Jake asks.

"Yeah but that girl. Didn't she go or still goes to school with us." I said.

"Yeah she still does." He says.

"But is she like homless or something?" I asked.

"Yeah and my family well sometimes helps her out since we know her family well."he says.

"So you know her well then?" I asked.

"Sort of. I mean we did grow up together and all but like her not much." He says.

"Why's that?" I asked.

"Long story short she hates the fact I always ignored her and never payed attenetion to her. I just never saw her as the type of girl for me you know. I could only accept her as a friend but it was never enough for her. She wanted me to be ehr guy but I turned her down. I mean she is about your age but I didn't see her like I see you. " he says.

"So if she was like me you give her a chance?" I said.

"Maybe but I have you and that's all that matter." He says.

"I guess." I said.

"Don't worry baby I will never leave you for her." I said.

" I know but why you go for the younger girls" I said.

"I just feel we always connect better than girls my age" he said.

"Okay." I said.

"Don't get jealous babe. I only have eyes for you." He says grabbing my hand.

"I hope you do." I said.

"Baby you are my one and only." He says.

That made me smile and I kissed his cheek. He then grabbed my hand and held it as we drove to I had no idea where.

Marissa's pov

Isa had not come home last night. I called her and nothing. I was really worried. I had the feeling she was with that boy and I know my heart would never lie. I hated myself from last night that even my other kids were scared of me. Thye would mostly go to Dean when they saw him. I felt like my own kids don't trust me anymore. I was in Scotties room putting him down for his nap. I was suppose to have an intervie today but had to cancel. Vince wasn't halpy but he did give me till Friday to go back to work for house shows.
