Chapter 25

Dean and I had just arrived in Cincinatti. We were getting our bags when I received a called. I look at the number but I don't reconginze it. I just ignore it and we leave in a cab. As soon as we reach our home Dean pays the cab driver and we grab ur stuff. I had no idea what to exect at this moment. I was reallt scared of what has become of my daughter. She had this weird dream before we left. She kept tellinhg em they were repeating until the dayw e left. I wouldn't be surprise to know that they are coming true.

We reach the front door when the door opens. Isa looks shock and scared.

"Mom? Dad?" She says with wide eyes.

"Where are you going ." I ask .

"Just going to get the mail." She says shaking.

"Well this is a better question why are you at home and not school?" I said pushing the door open angrily.

"I was going to go but something just came up with little Scotyie." She says.

"Enough of your lying Isa. Your mother and I know Scottie is okay or else we would have received a call." Dean says slamming the door shut.

"Okay so I didn't wanna go. Its just one day." She says.

"One day. One day?? Really? Do you really tyhink we arethat gullible to not know your school has already called us asking why your not in school. You've been missing for days. They are close to taking action against us. Do you realize that we can go to jail and you four to a foster home." I. Said

"Mom I just don't feel like school is for me. I don't think of going back." She says shrugging.

"Listen here Isabella Gomez. You are going to be in school whether you like it or not. I don't care hiw you feel about school but your going. I will practically drag you there if I have too. I will even have a body guard or something follow you. I want you back there and werebstarting now."I said grabbing her by the arm.

"Mom your hurting me." She wipers.

"I don't care. I will not have you miss out on a normal life with normal experiences."" I said.

"Well I already dropped out. The school has me out of the system. So there is no point."she says.

"We will see about that." I said pulling her to the car.

"Mari we need to relax. Look Isa made a choice and if she wants to be a grown up then let her." Dean said.

"Dean she needs to be in school. I'm not letting her be a drop out." I said.

"Mari let her make her mistakes. I myslef am a drop out but I knew what I wnated in life. Let isa show us that she can ahndle herself. Why doesn't she move out if the house for a week and we will see if she can handle it. She wants to be an adult. Do what she wants then she will have to work and pay bills." Dean says calmly.

"Dean don't suoport her on this. She needs to go bafk." I said.

"Babe just think about it. Its just for a week. " he says.

"I can't. Thinking about her like that. No I will not allow it." I said.

"Mom I made my choice. I don't want school but why punish me like this." Isa says.

"You will learn how hard life is. You wanna be independent then we will give you that." I said letting her arm go.

"Mom don't let dad di this. I just want out of school not my home." She says.

"You made a choice and now face it." Dean says.

"Please no. I just wanted to be away from it. I'll finish school. I'll do homeschool if you let me."she says.

"No. Its either regular school or no regular home." Dean says.

"Fine I'll go abck. I'll tell my boyfriend to put me back in." She says.

"You have a boyfriend." Dean and I said in union.

"I mean friend."she says mumbling something.

"So the guy that answer last night was your boyfriend. Why was he in our home late at night." I said. .

"Nothing it was just a friend. He just helped me repair something is all. We fell asleep and there."she says.

"Get in the hiuse and wait till we come up with a punishment for you."'i said.

"Come on mom."she says.

"Now." I said.

She ended up leaving into the house . I put my hand on my face and sigh.

"Baby she will be okay. She's just lost. Look we will be watching her. I would never actually let her be on her own.I just said it to scare her. If she doesn't cooperate then will have to teach her a lesson. I promise it won't be long. Its onlylike two days. But right now we have to find out what is really going on. We just need to go along with her that's all." He says.

"Dean where is she going?" I said looking to the side.

"Isa get back here."I yell.

She just runs and Dean runs after her. He catches her and drags her back into the house. We both look at ehr and have shicked faces and confusion.

"Isa what were you thinking?" I said.

"You guys don't love me. So imma just go live with my boyfriend." Isa says.

"What are you talking about.?" I asked.

"You left us. You promised to be here and you left. I hate both of you." She says.

"Isa you don't mean it. Now just go to your room." I said calmly.

"Make me." She said.

Dean steps close to her and drags her upstairs. She is yelling but I do nothing. I hear the door shut and Dean comes back downstairs. I just hug him until we hear shuffling upstairs.we fo up the stairs and to Isa's room. We open the door to see her climbing out the window. She is already down and Dean running down to reach ehr. I follow but the las t glimpse I see of her is getting into a car and driving off. What as my daughter gotten into?
