Chapter 61

Marissa's pov

Dean had used me. He didn't really want me. Everything we did last night meant nothing to him. My better option was just going to the club and getting hammered. Currently I was in the gym weighting room. No one was in here so it was quite and peaceful.

"Mari can we talk." Someone said from behind.

"Go away." I said.

"Mari I know what he did was wrong but he did save you from making another mistake." Roman said.

"I rather make tgem than him helping me. You know I felt loved last night. I may have been......I cut myself before saying it.

"You were on what?" Roman asked confused.

"Nothing okay. He just isn't the sameanymore." I said.

"Mari your taking pills again aren't you. You've lied to all of us?". He said dissapointed.

"Yes I have. The only wayiwas gonna leave that hospital was to be the good girl who actually wanted to stop. Well guess what I never stopped taking them. I need them to make me feel good." I said.

"No Mari please stop taking those. Think of the kids back home. There mom is everything to them. I'm sure they miss you like crazy." He says.

"I miss them too. I'm only here to do a job and that's it. No one is making me come and stay. I decided to take the offer to help out. I also wanted Dean. He makes me feel hate and love. Where have I gone wrong. Is he ever gonna trust me again?" Isaid.

"Dean needs space then give it to him. He isn't going anywhere. Yeah it hurts him knowing what your going through but he hides the fact he doesn't care. Dean has never been in this position where the table have turned on him. His rough life upbringing is just haunting I guess." He says.

"Well I guess he does need his time. Why can't he he get I can't help how I am. I never ask for this to happen. What's more weird is the doctor I had as my therapist should have know about myaddiction. I mean there's a history for it." I said.

"Wait what do you mean history?" Roman asked confused.

"That's it Rome. Sharon should have known about I. I got treated for it when I spiral out of control. She should have known about it. No doctor gets a patient without at least knowing a little about there past. " I said. .

"Do you think you were set up?" He asks.

"I'm not sure. They did find her for me and had great reviews but something about her is clicking." I said.

"Mari she's just a therapist nothing more. Baby girl you need to rest. Don't stress yourself over that. I'll help you get better.. you and Dean deserve to be a happy family again." He says.

"Rome just watch him for me. I am made at him but I brought a lot of things upon myself. Just keep him safe please." I said.

" I'll see you at the arena." He says.

He walks away and I just stay in the weight room. I start to lift some weights and start to think back. How does someone not know when a patient should have a certain medication?

After working out for 3 hours I released some stress and forgot about the whole medication thing with Sharon.

When I made my way to the arena I saw people staring at me. Many whispers but I ignored them. I have no idea what is going on but people had disappointed looks.

When I reached my lockeroom I saw someone I really didn't wanna see.

"Hey you thought you got rid of me."  

"What do you want. 

"Listen my propsition still stands."

"I'm not intrested."

"People know what happen. Let me be the one to make you feel special. I wanna be yours. I wanna be a father to your kids."  

"No. Why do you want anyways besides the deal?"

"I want you. I've had my eye on you for a long time. When we slept together it meant something to me. Give me a chance to be there for you."

"Why do you care so much?"  

"I'm in love with you. Give me a chance to prove it. You and Ambrose are separated from what I know. So give us a chance."

"If I do what promises do I get from you?"

"To give you the attention you deserve."

He comes to me and kisses me. I was shocked but kissed back. I wonder if this is worth it.
