Chapter 73

Hours later

The kids and I finally arrived in vegas. I saw how happy Isa was the most considering she will get to see Jake again. I was wondering why he wanted to see her and if his intentions are sincere.

"Mom how long are we staying again?" Mayra asked.

"Just a week. I have been thinking we should leave the country for a while. I know you guys might not like it but it will be temporary. This is a fresh start in a way but we will be back. " I said.

"Mom will dad be mad at us"?" Jon asked.

"No honey. He will understand. I will talk to him soon but for now we have to be distant from him." I said.

"Mommy will we ever be in a safe place?" Mayra asked.

"We will. What makes you think we won't be safe?" I asked concern.

"I have gotten some letters in the past. I was scare to tell you and they said if I did you and daddy will get seriously hurt. " she said.

"Oh my little one its not your fault. I love you and so does your dad. We would never have never been away all this time if this was happening. I just hope you know that your not alone and let us know what's going on next time. I just want all of you safe okay." I said hugging them.

"Mom do we have to stay with Snipe and Kelly?" Jon asked.

"When were in Norway they will be there and I just hope you guys al accept them as I have. I have kniwn them pretty much all my life and they are god people now. You were all young when you meet them but now that your a little older you guys understand what's going on. Just please be nice and know they are Isa's dad/ aunt. I just want a happy family." I said.

"Mom you now as well as I do I can't call them that. I should but I can't at the moment." She said.

"Isa I understand but just try fr me okay. Think of your son. He should not live in lies like I have lived and put you guys through." I said.

"We understand." They all said.

As we reached our destination we saw Jake waiting by the door. When he saw the cab pull up he came right over. Isa was the first out the door and he immediatley pulled into him and she did the same. A few seconds later they share a kiss. I saw love in there yes but she's still young and its illegal right now. Not to mention a felony for hiding this.

"Hello mrs.Good." he says.

"Jake." I said.

"So I hope its okay that I made all of you guys come here. Just had to see my son." He sad.

"I understand I hope that the intentions you have for my daughter are sincere." I said.

"They are sdo please all of you come in." He says reaching for Robin.

He helps wih the bags afterwards and we stay in the living room. This place looked really neat and looked like fdamilyhome. Ithink I understood why he wanted Isa with him. He wants a family that he could love with all his heart.

"So kids you think I can speak with Jake in private." I asked all my kids.

"Sure momill take them out in the backyard to ex plore around." Isa says.

As the leave I see Jake turn stiff.

"Alright Jake I need you to be really honest with me on one rhing and I believe we know what it is." I said.

"If the answer your looking for is me worki g for Kelsey then yes I have worked for her. She has tried finding ways to hurt me but hasn't succsseded yet. Iwant Isa and Robinsafe you do for all of them. I knmow things about Kelsey that can help you but I also know about you from her. I knoiw your weaknesses and your current state of mind. I have had a little bit of ontact withAbby to say the least for a liitle inside. I knoiw you well and I'm hoping I can help you. I know Sharon better than you would ever imagine.". He says.

"Well son I appricate the honesty but for now I need to just find the peace within myself. I need you to look after them for a few hours while I make a little visit to someone thast will be helping me with a few things. " I said.

"I will and knw I will not let them get hurt. I hope its okay if you let me consider you guys as family. I mean since I am sort of part of it." He said embarrased.

"Its okay. I have to see you as another son considering Isa does love you and you love her as much as your son. Just promise me not to hurt her. I don't wanna see her broken again." I said.

" I won't. She is my life and I will wait for her till she's legal age. I plan on making her my wife someday so we can be a complete family." He says.

"Just don't rush things oky. I still see hef as my little girl." I said.

"Of course all I want is her hppiness as well as our sons." He says.

"Your a good kid don't make me change my perspectives of you." I said.

"Nothing to worry about." I said hugging him.

He was tense and in shock. He hugged back a few seconds later. I wanted him to know I trust him and that I'll keep an eye on him.

I ended up leaving to meet up with my allays. I just hope we can make a diiference and knowing them we will be safe and I'll be getting the help I need.
