Chapter 26

I had no idea where Isa was but i needed to find her. Dean and I looked all over the city for her. I was starting to panick and getting dizzy. I have no idea what has gotten into my daughter but I was going to find out.

Hours later

It was close to midnight. Dean and I did one last search and even checked a dark alley before going home. I was starting to cry while Dean held one of my hands. He seemed to be holding in what was happening. He held the steering wheel hard but drove calmly at the same time. When we left the dark alley I saw a group of people and a girl with long dark hair considering its dark. I thought of that girl being Isa but I doubt it. Dean and I drove away until I heard a scream.

"Dean that scream?" I said alert.

"Baby calm down. Look its just ... he stops the car.

"Dean what's going on. Why did you stopthe car?" I asked.

"Look over there. The group of people we passed are chasing someone." He says.

"Dean that's Isa. Why are they chasing her?" I said.

"No it can't be." He says.

"We look and it indeed was Isa. She looked scared and just kept running. Before I knew it Dean was out the door and chasing after her. He was right next to her when someone attacked them.

"Dean." I yelled getting out of the car.

Whoever was chasing them ran off when I got them. They had some marks on them but were oaky.

"Isa what haooen?" I asked.

"Nothing that cinslcerns you. You guys let me go already so I shouldn't matter to you guys."she says harshly.

"Isa we do care about you. Your my first baby. I would never in a million years let anything happen to you." I said.

"Yeah I'm sure. Look where were at. I can see you don't care for the others. We always got stuck with strangers or aunt Aj and Uncle Punk but you guys are never around. I made my life now. I have someone who loves me and will not take ightky if what happen tonight." She says.

"Isa please understand we would never abandon you." Dean says.

"Whatever. Just leave like always." She says.

"Where not going anywhere." I said.

"Marissa you can't stay. We have a contract to fufillm." Dean says.

"Look Dean it was a mistake going back in the first place. Our daugther got involved with the wrong people." I said.

"Mar either we go back or kiss your career goodbye." He says.

"Look at where we ended up. Dean understand that I will not leave my kids when they need me." I said.

"You already did. It hurts I know but we are making a living for them I hate leaving them everytime but we have too. I love them so much thati always get sad and cry when we leave. Igot scared right niw seeing Isa get hurt. I protected her but for what just so those jerks could get away." He says.

"Dad I can handle myself and I have Jake. I only did a job but it didn't go right. I would have been okay. Jake and his crew were close by." She says.

"Baby girl I think you need to go on theroad with us. We will homeschool you like before. I am not going to endanger you. I am giving you this just like you asked before." I said.

"Mom I know what I wnat.I wanna be here. Jake is amazing and I don't wnat to be away from him."she says.

"Isa you are to young to be in a relationship. Listen to us now. We are giving you the option to come with us." Dean says.

"Well I deny your offer. Iwant to be near Jake and there's nothing you can do about it." She says.

Dean goes to her and puts her over his shoulder. He indicates we go back tothe car. He puts Isa in the backseat and gets in the drivers seat. I just enter the passenger seat and we drive off.

When we get home Isa just stays in the car. I see Dean about to yell at her but I step in.

"Dean I'll talk to her." I said.

"Make sure she listens this time." He says walking into the house.

"Isa please come out." I said.

"No." She says.

"Please baby we need to talk. Just come out here." I said.

"Fine." She said opening the door.

"Tell me what you have been feeling this whole time. You can trust me." I said trying ti hug her but she just moves away.

"Nothing is the same anymore. I found a new life with new people. I love Jake mom. He makes me happy. I am not giving it up." She says.

"Isa when did this all start?" I said."

"The day you left. I got to know him and we connected. Were happy and enjoy being with each other." She says.

"Baby I'm glad yoiu have a boyfriend I guess but I need to know how old is he." I said.

"He's 16" she says.

"Isa he's too old for you. I mean he might have good intentions but I'm not sure since I have no idea how he is and kegs met him." I said.

"Mom he treats me good. I would let you meet him but not now.i can tell dad will killl him. Just let em know him better boefee you meet him." She says.

"Okay hut what about school. You need to be in school." I said.

"I'll go back but only if I transfer school." She said.

"Why is that?" I asked confused.

"I just wanna be near Jake. He goes to a near where I wanna go." She says.

"Isa there has to be another reason why you din't wanna go back to your old school. I said.

"Mom please just let me do tbis."she says.

"Fine but I wanna see the school first before anything is decided." I said.

"Thanks mom."she says hugging me.

"Now let's get inside and clean you up." I said.

We went into the house where we saw the house trashed. Dean was livid and and had wide eyes.

"Dean what's wrong?" I asked scared.

"Nothing. Just need to get siem fresh air." He says.

"Talk to me please." I said.

"Mari just look after the kids. I'll be okay."he said walking out of the house..

"Isa will talk in the mornng. I'll be upstairs to say goodnight." I said.

"Okay mom."she says hugging me.

I look out the window to see Dean out there still. He was getting in the car and drove away in high speed.

I just go upstairs and wish all my kids goodnight. I forgot our babysitter was here. I asked ehr she could stay the night since it was already really late. I showed her the guest room and went to go see Isa. When I enter the room she was already asleep. I move the hair away from her face and kiss her forehead. I stroke her head and give her one more kiss before leaving her room.

I go to my room and fall alseep thinking why Dean went out like that especially at this hour.
