Surgery

ARIZONA POV
I have to find Callie if she has a spare scrub cap. I find her in hallway as she is about to enter scrub room and i yell.
"CALLIE"
she turns around and sees me and I walk to her
"Sorry for yelling. I just wanted to ask if you have spare scrub cap. You know how I hate the hospital scrub caps."
"Mm. I actually have one of yours. So you can take it." she said wit a awkward smile. Why she has my scrub cap?
"Okay thank you."
"It is your scrub cap you don't need to thank me." she said as I took the scrub cap

CALLIE POV
We scrubbed in and started the surgery and we were at a awkward silence. I know what she is thinking about. There is a full gallery of people because of her. I decided to break the silence.
"Can you please turn off the intercom. Thank you." I said and she looked me with her question look
"Arizona I know what are you thinking about and full gallery don't need to know it."
"Okay okay. I will just ask. Why do you have my scrub cup. Especially this old one?" she asked and I knew that i need to tell her
"One day you forgot your scrub cap home. It was like 9 years ago and I took it for you to work but I was pulled into emergency surgery and I forgot that I had it in my scrubs. It was impossible to save that mans leg but I did it. And from that time I've been taking it to my every surgery with me as my lucky charm I guess." I said shyly
"That is.." she was searching for the right word
"Stupid" I said
"Sweet" she said with a smile
"You can keep it by the way." She giggled
"Thank you."

"I think the baby is gonna be okay." She said
"That's good."
"Anddd I'm done. But I need to stay here and keep eye on the baby. How is the leg?" She said curiously
"It's a lot worse then I expected. She is about to have a baby so I need to do my best job and I need another pair of hands. Can you please page ortho surgeon who is on-call. I need the best hands." I said
"And you think you softened me?" I said curiously because of she said earlier. Another surgeon came in
"Hello Dr.Minnick. Do you think you can help me here?" I said and I saw Arizona's eyes grew bigger and Minnick stared at her
"Of course and Dr. Robbins has her ways how to soft people." She said and her and Arizona know each other?
"Excuse me please. I have to go. If anything goes bad with the baby page me immediately." She said and before I could say anything she was gone.

"What that was about?" I asked
"I have no idea" Minnick said but I know she is lying

ARIZONA POV
What the hell is she doing here. No no no. She absolutely ghosted me after almost year. I don't know where I want to go but I need to go somewhere.

I went to see the babies because I know they can calm me down. I stood there for like 1,5 hours and then I headed to get my things from Callies office as I walked down through the hallways I see Callie and Eliza walking together and talking. As I turn around Callie yell my name.

"Hi. How's the patient?" I said with fake smile
"She's out of the surgery and I'd going to be fine. Why did you storm out of the OR?"
"My..um.. leg hurts. But it's ok now." I said and she gave me convincing smile and Eliza just stood there
"Okay. So you two know each other?" She asked and me and Eliza looked at each other
"Um.." i said but someone paged her
"Sorry. I need to go. Tell me later and see ya." And she walked away. Me and Eliza left
"I gonna go." I said
"Arizona wait." She said and i turned and faced her
"What do you want?" I said annoyingly
"I'm so sorry that I left like I left. I was so embarrassed and I couldn't face it and face you. That you gonna look at me differently."
"So you just left?" I said
"I'm so sorry. But I saw you again today and I see what I lost and I want you again. I want to fight for you." She said with a sad smile
"No Eliza. You don't have another chance. And don't bother fight for me because I'm not taking you back ever again. You had your chances and you blew it away." I said coldly
"Are you with her agin?"
"No. And as I remember it's not any of your
business." I said
"But you gave her so many chances." She said and I started getting angry
"It's completely different story. You will be never like her to me. And I will give her so many chances as I gonna want. Please don't talk to me and from now I'm for you Dr.Robbins." I said and I turned around and started walking away
"Arizona" she says and I just keep walking away

I get into the car and text Callie I'm going home. On my way home I stopped for ice cream because I needed it. And then I was home I laid on the sofa and started watching 'The Notebook'. I knew that I'm going to cry.
