Chapter 25: Transfer Student Motive

You awoke to the Monokubs morning announcement.
"Another day in this sad place." You grumbled getting ready.   You heard someone buzzing on the intercom and you opened the door to see Miu.
"Oh you are in your room today I thought you would of been in your boyfriend's room." Miu commented. "You didn't like the ultimate supreme leader's supreme-" Miu began but you covered her mouth your face red knowing what she was going to say and then she started to laugh.
"Miu...." You sighed turning away.
"I was going to say personality." Miu cackled. You rolled your eyes at her knowing she was lying.
"Anyway we have to meet up in the gym for some reason. So I figured we could walk together." Miu explained.
"Well you are like my best friend here so yeah let's go."  You smiled and the two of you began walking to the gym.
"What do you think is going on?" You asked.
"How should I know? I guess we'll find out when we get there." Miu said.
"I just don't know what they have to announce. Another motive?" You suggested.  Miu shrugged her shoulders.

Eventually you two made it to the gym and everyone else was already there waiting for you two except for Gonta. As you walked in you noticed that everything was all clean as if nothing ever happened.
"Ugh man Im tired." Miu complained snapping you out of your thoughts. "I was up all night fixing that computer."
"Oh you did?! What do you think!?" You asked excited.
"Yeah I only just started working on it so I don't know the full specs but that thing is pretty good I mean it's so ínstense it just won't let me sleep." Miu explained. You then noticed K1-B0 a bit upset.
"Kehehe are you jealous?" Korekiyo asked.
"Of course not I would never be jealous of a computer." K1-B0 replied.
"A robot jealous of a computer? It seems just plain possible." Tsumugi said.
"Hey guys am I sleepwalking or something? What's she doing here?" Kokichi asked looking at Maki. "Oh I see! I'm hallucinating! After what Maki said before there's no way she'd be here!"

"Don't say something so stupid. You'll never get to know her better if you never talk to her!" Kaito sighed. "Come on Y/N help me out."
"Umm she falsely accused my Y/N and said it should of been her instead of Kaede. She's super mean to my beloved girlfriend. And maybe everyone would prefer that! That this dangerous killer stays far away from us!" Kokichi exclaimed.
"You better cut it out!" Kaito yelled.
"He's right. Murder and death have no place in a peaceful academy life." Angie said.
"Nyeeeh it's just like Angie said." Himiko agreed.
"Except this academy isn't how I would define as peaceful." You sighed.
Just then Gonta arrived with a very worried expression.
"Everyone it serious!" Gonta yelled.
"What is?" You asked.
"Oh no... the colossal insect is on the other side of the wall isn't it?!" Kokichi asked.
"No not that. Gonta went to the courtyard and before coming here and-" Gonta was explaining
But then the Monokubs came in.
"Let's present the motive now." The Monokubs said.
"I knew it was a motive." You said a bit scared to find out what it was.
"Nyahaha! It doesn't matter what the motive is we will not do the killing game anymore." Angie gleefully cheered.
"Th-thats right! We aren't afraid of anything anymore!" Tenko stuttered.
"Because we have Atua." K1-B0 said.
"What?" Shuichi said his expression shocked and you were a bit confused by his statement as well.

"But it's no ordinary motive. This motive will inspire fear like never before." Monophanie said.
"Fear like never before?" Korekiyo asked.
"If you face a fear like never before you'll have no choice but to unite." Monodam informed. "Now for the motive that will cast you down into the depths of terror."
They then presented the motive thats a transfer student and that transfer student being one of the four students who have died being resurrected.
"Wait what?!" You exclaimed shocked.
"A transfer student?" Tsunugi asked confused.
"We can resurrect someone?" Kaito asked his face pale.
"The instructions for the resurrection ritual are written in the Necronomicon." Monotaro spoke. "By performing the ritual as written you can resurrect one deceased victim."
"But only one of the four who have died so far can become the transfer student." Monophanie reminded. "Whoever you choose that person will be considered part of the killing game semester."
"So technically you can kill em again as soon as they're resurrected." Monotaro explained. "Y'know if you wanted to use it like that."
The bears then said it was suppose to bring us all closer and then they left. This felt absurd you couldn't believe what you heard. Resurrecting the dead? That's impossible isn't it?
"T-transfer student? R-resurrecting the dead?" K1-B0 trailed off.
"Th-that has to be impossible r-right?" You stuttered.
"There's no way resurrecting the dead is possible!" Kaito yelled his face full of terror.
"Sh-sheesh wh-who would believe that unscientific load?" Miu stuttered scared.
"Disbelief due to a lack of scientific merit is simply the habits of a scientific society." Korekiyo said. "The ritual or rather resurrection ceremony stems from funeral ceremonies the world over. See they're similar yes? The act of sending the dead to the next world is a sort of ritual. Through rumors and legends that ritual twisted into a way to return the dead to this world."
